I’ve both dined in and ordered takeout from this restaurant, and it’s been excellent every time. The portions are very generous, and the food is truly wholesome and flavorful. I had the chance to meet the owner, who was incredibly humble and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The restaurant is beautiful and spacious, perfect for a relaxed meal or a night out.
They also host belly dancing and salsa nights throughout the month, which adds a fun vibe. The penne à la vodka and the kabobs are next level, absolutely must-tries. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Food is good but if you order online, they don't make your order until you get there for some reason. It has happened to me every time. No matter how late I get there
Great food. We had the Persian tacos and kebob. Delicious.

Disappointing experience. Both the food and service were much better before. Pizza had virtually no sauce and wasn't hot. Our table's second entree didn't come out for at least 15 minutes after the first. We were the only seated table at 7pm on a Friday so I don't really see what excuse the kitchen could have. The host was very young and new and felt bad about our experience but clearly didn't know what to do. The cook however seemed not to care one bit. We loved the food here when it first opened but I doubt we'll ever return.

Food was delicious as always! I had the bolognese, and next time I’d probably add a meatball or two, as I’d be interested in having more protein in the dish. Yes, the prices may seem high at first, but the portions are very large and everything is served super fast and fresh. With meatballs, you could probably make two full meals out of one serving. (Maybe you could without adding them, it would depend on the person). I still can’t finish all the pasta in one sitting, but it’s nice to be left with a little bit to enjoy later. You won’t leave hungry, that’s for sure! It’s DELICIOUS, and service is wonderful. I look forward to my next visit. Thanks, Italiamo Kitchen!

Italiamo Kitchen is a gem! From the cozy vibe to the super friendly staff, everything about this place feels welcoming. The food was amazing—fresh pasta, and great flavors all around. I had the Penne Alla Vodka, and it was so creamy and perfect. My friend loved the Taco Tahdig. The service was top-notch. Highly recommend. We also got to talk to the owner Matt who made the experience even better. We found our new favorite to go spot.

Italiamo Kitchen in Rockville, Maryland is an absolute gem, and it’s no surprise they’re becoming a favorite all across the DMV! Matt, the owner, is incredibly friendly and welcoming—he truly goes above and beyond to make every guest feel at home. The food is outstanding, from the perfectly seasoned kabobs to the rich, flavorful pastas. The Tahdig Taco and Persian Pizza are must-try items that you won’t find anywhere else, and his chicken kabobs are famous for a reason—they’re easily the best in the DMV. The atmosphere is warm, lively, and totally child-friendly, making it a great spot for families as well as anyone looking for delicious, comforting food with a unique twist. Highly recommend!

Wasn’t expecting such a tasty food. This simple place really surprised me, prove that sometimes simple things are more than just what it looks like. Max the chashier was also very kind to me all my stance. Definitely recommend this place if want to enjoy tasty Italian flavors 👌👌👌

We went there the first time. My son had worked at the owner’s prior restaurant when he was in high school so we were very excited to go there. There seemed to be only one main server for the entire restaurant along with one bus boy. We were a table of 7 so not a huge group at all. Our order came in spurts and my nephew’s order didn’t come to the table till the rest of us were more than half way done with our meal. And it was just penne pasta. Nothing complicated! The restaurant had a live blues band playing which was extremely out of place and VERY VERY loud. The restaurant would be better served using that money to have another server. The place has an interesting fusion menu of Persian and Italian food. Everything except the items that state ham/prosciutto is halal though which was awesome. The restaurant has potential but needs some tweaks to make it a place we would want to go back to.

The food was really good, but be careful when paying in cash. He kept an extra tip for himself. So I won't be eating there again in the future... sorry.
I stopped in for lunch while waiting for an auto service to be done. The atmosphere is pleasant. I ordered a meatball sub with fries. The sub was pretty basic at best. There was nothing great about it. The sauce was basic. Bread was fresh, but not great. The meatballs were basic. There was not much to the sub sandwich and it was hardly filling. Fries were pretty good. All things considered it was average at best.
