In all honesty, It has been over a decade where I have had such an amazing breakfest , Toasted, Bacon, Egg and Cheese on a Sesame Bagel that has tasted so good.I don't know if it is just me, but I feel that in this day and age food in general has lost its taste.So, I was pleasantly surprised when I bit into my sandwich and I could actually feel the taste of the food.I think a big part of it is that I for the most part, I frequent the Big fast food chains where they have cut so much on costs that their foods no longer taste like anything.After, my visit to Izes Deli, I have realized that there are still places that use fresh ingredients and have delicious food.I loved this place. I came in at 7:00 AM, and the place was a bit busy, so that tells you right there that they are doing something right.

Been going here for years as I went to Walter Johnson High, the school down the road. It’s consistently good and brings the community together. Enjoy the sausage egg and cheese with lettuce on everything bagel, but you can’t go wrong with some lox.

My dad and brother are regulars hereis a and have been for years. The food is no nonsense good, and if you answer the trivia question properly you get 2 free bagels.This is a family owned business and it “feels” that way. As a result many of the customers are regulars. The owner Lee somehow remembers my fondness for salt bagels, which is truly baffling!Along the wall of the deli are several hundred photos of families visiting the deli, taken sometime around 2011. A time capsule of sorts. This shows that the customers are just as important here as the food is.When I come in they know to get my 2 salt bagels ready!
