Overall experience was great. I ordered a Java nation burger which had very good flavoring. You can tell the chef is experienced from the plating AND by seasoning the burger before hand and not just letting the aioli sauce be the seasoning. I also ordered a brownie with an Americano coffee with a shot of caramel which was delicious. Food was really great at this place. Service was also up to par. Our waiter was very nice and accommodating. The atmosphere was very relaxed & clean.

Excellent food and drinks. Warning that their tea comes in the plastic mesh bags that put microplastic in your hot tea.

We love this local spot. This was our fourth visit. My favorite pastry is the guava and cheese crossiant... it was superb!

We went to Java Nation with the plan to listen to the music on the porch, which is enclosed in the cold months. Even with the heaters, however, it was quite chilly, so we moved to the indoor seating. Our server was very attentive. Our meals were so-so. Roasted vegetables didn't seem roasted, maybe steamed. My chicken shwarma was dressed with tzatziki which I don't think belongs on a shwarma. The impossible burger was so-so. Beer and wine were very good. Overall, I probably wouldn't return, at least not for the food.

I love coming here! It’s a cute little spot that has a cozy vibe! I’m a HUGE fan of the arepas — literally they are delicious! Sometimes I have to stop myself from buying several at a time. Their coffee is also really good, with more of the flavors heightened with oat milk. It’s a regular stop for me!

I have had food from Java Nation many times and enjoyed it. Was in a hurry this morning so I ordered Uber Eats. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with sausage, egg and cheese on a croissant. The sausage was not cooked fully and the sandwich was a greasy mess. I threw it away. I did call and let them know and the person on the phone said they would let the chef know.

It was an unexpectedly rainy night outside but the dining area was warm, welcoming and visually interesting. Wait staff is impressive. Each person was genuinely welcoming and interested in making our experience a good one (and they were quite patient and funny and kind dealing with the 4-year old in our party). I look forward to our next visit. Oh, PS, what a treat to have an excellent decaf Americano.
