Wow! The whole House Steak sub was huge (enough for dinner and leftovers for breakfast the next 2 days) and incredibly delicious. Absolutely one of the best subs I have had in the DMV. Takeout service was friendly and fast, even on a Friday night. And parking was convenient, a pleasant surprise because parking at the plaza next door is such a nightmare.

The customer service is amazing and so is the food I advise all of you to try them

dunn' take this personally

After splurging a couple thousand at the Micro Center, you can use what's left of your life savings ($13.25 to be exact) to buy a sandwich, fries, and a drink.

There's very few places where you can get a full meal for under $20 or even $15 out in the Suburbs.

A god send.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. BEWARE of their delivery service. I waited 1hr and a half for a steak and cheese and fries and I live 3 miles away. Bread was completely soggy. Fries were cold and soggy and they refused to refund me my money. Called multiple times and they told me “he will be there soon.” 20 minute later? Delivery still didn’t arrive. I had to use sandwich bread to make the “sub” edible. No one wants a soggy steak and cheese and cold fries.

THIS DOES NOT DESERVE EVEN ONE STAR, but google would not let me post this review unless I at least chose one star……BUT….The food is HORRIBLE!!!!! It tastes like food from yesterday that they just warmed up..The egg roll was like a sponge of grease….I advise you not to eat from this place!!!!

The husband and I wanted 10pm steak and cheese subs, and Kenny's did not disappoint. It took forever for us to try this place since the sheer variety of foods threw us off. Don't let the pictures of noodles and sushi deter you: the subs are well-stuffed and delicious!

Rockville-staple Chinese takeout! I ordered chicken lo mein the other day for dinner. The chicken was juicy and the noddle had a great deal of chewiness.

The customer service was great as well. I called them at 2:55pm Friday, but they were happy to take my order as lunch deal. Tremendous local food business and Kenny’s Sub Shop adds its finest takeout experience and taste to the Rockville area.

We've tried a few Chinese restaurants in the Rockville area looking for our "takeout" spot. Kenny's is it! Great portion sizes and flavor in their beef and chicken dishes, and the food is not too soggy and greasy like other places. The lunch specials are a great deal.

What a disappointment! Over the years I’ve heard that their cheesesteaks were pretty good so I broke my Keto diet and trued them out. I have to preface this review by saying I’m a Philly guy through and through, and I’ve eaten my share of CS to be an expert on the subject. I get that some people like Cheese Wiz ? while others like lettuce, tomato, and mayo ???
All that being said, the core of the sandwich has to be perfect. First, as other reviewers have said, plan on take out unless you don’t mind the woman behind the counter literally yelling in a mic to the people in back making the food. And because it’s a tiny place it’s not like you can move to the back. I took the food to go and drove fast as hell down Rockville Pike to get home and dig in. I ordered a large CS with American Cheese and shrooms. Pretty basic right? When I unwrapped the CS, the whole thing looked and felt as if it had been through a fight with a can of WD40 and a gallon of cheese. You don’t have to be from Philly to know it ALL starts with the bread. Well not in this case. I’m sure tge bread started its life just great but went down a dark road. I couldn’t even cut it with a knife because it was soaking in cheese. But WAIT, there’s more. I think the cap on the salt shaker fell off while making my sandwich because there was SO much salt it was shocking. What a total waste of carbs. I will give them a bone and say the fries were very good.

The food is really good and the portions are great. However, they will tell you the food will be ready at a specific time, but they never fail to make you wait 15+ minutes. This has happened multiple times and is fairly annoying.

My husband just got home with our pick up order and when we went to plate everything he saw they gave us shrimp lo mein instead of beef. We also got sweet and sour chicken and it was not what it usually tastes like. The chicken was so chewy and over cooked and the sauce was so vinegary and runny. The bbq ribs were chewy and completely over cooked also. If we didn’t have two hungry kids he would have driven back there. He just called now and spoke to the person who took the order when he was at the location in-person and she just said “oh ok” and didn’t offer to fix anything or give a partial credit. Terrible customer service for what was over a $60 order. We won’t be back.

First, let's start with.I give a good tip every single time I order there. Tip from the card and I leave cash in the jar when I pick the food up..I used to go to kenny's in rockville up until yesterday. I'm tired of paying full price for lobster / shrimp fried rice and Literally getting two small pieces of lobster in a large rice. Maybe six shrimp and that's being generous. The silver spring location takes way better care of their customers..
