Definitely the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. Granted it was takeout and that may have made a difference, but it was still incredibly bad.

I did a carryout order and found the food to be mediocre. The scallion pancakes were super greasy and had very little scallions in them. The kung pao chicken was bland and had no spice to it though what flavor it had was decent. The chow fan noodles were very bland and the noodles tasted metallic somehow. Adding broccoli to the dishes was not worth the money as there were very few pieces of it. The only good thing was the hot and sour soup and it was delicious. We were looking forward to the meal and were very disappointed. The food was ready when promised and hot upon getting home. We will not be returning.

Kungfu 12 just took over where Tokyo Taipei used to be, and honey… let’s just say the “Szechuan” in the title is more of a suggestion than reality. The menu feels like a mash-up of random Chinese dishes with a sprinkle of Taiwanese, but none of it hits that authentic note. It’s like Chinese food that’s been through a suburban makeover.

The spicy wontons? Not even giving “mild salsa” energy. The siu mai tastes like something you’d grab from the frozen aisle at Target. And the Three Cup Chicken? Cute, but my grandma would side-eye it and tell me to sit down so she could show them how it’s really done.

Now, not everything’s a flop — the string beans and beef actually have a nice balance, but the pork could use a little more oomph. Overall? It’s edible, but let’s not pretend it’s a culinary revelation. Kungfu 12 needs a few more black belts in flavor before it can really spar with the real deal

Very poor quality food. The egg roll filling was mushy and off putting and the outside was soggy, not crispy as if it had been sitting for a while. The beef did not taste like steak should taste but rather gelatinous and processed - very off putting texture. I would not recommend this restaurant at all. The totally for beef and broccoli and 2 small egg rolls was over $22 and not worth the cost at all

Was looking forward to it after reading the reviews but -
Shrimp friend rice was very greasy
General Tsos chicken was just ok- not as flavorful or crunchy outside as others and no sauce in the bottom of container for rice.

First time in my life I’ve ever had a Chow mien with no noodles! The literal translation of Chow mein is fried noodles!

Disappointing as their chow mien is boiled chicken and veg…. 100% not a Chow Mein by any standard.

Showed a google search of what Chow Mein is meant to be to the female server, to be told that’s Lo Mein. No offer to change the dish even though it’s clear their menu is wrong from what’s known all around the world.

No one checked on us during our meal. I sat with an empty drink.

Disappointing as we were the only table having lunch.
