I just picked up lunch and it was awful! The Bolivian chicken pie/Saltena was just about to turn sour! The carne asada was not chewable! The charred fat and untrimmed tendons made the meat just God awful! The rice was sour/from yesterday pretty sure and reheated . The beans, dried and watered out in the edges. A disaster and when I went in to complain the young skinny man had a condescending attitude and kept offering money back, that was not point. How ignorant can he be! Never going back.

The place is very nice but the salteñas are very bad and expensive.

Poor customer service. The person behind counter attended to someone behind me while I was left waiting in line.

11/21/21 On my way out of Ritchie Center, I saw this store and decided to check ot out. I saw there is a deli section where you can get a nice lunch meal or a take home cooked meal. I saw a number of condiments that can put a nice amount of spice in your food of choice. If you are craving a snack, you can find them here, but they are not your typical kind of American Snackfood. Some maybe be similar to flavors you know. Others maybe be out of this world to you. Nevertheless, there are some things here that caught my eye, but seeing how I had eaten earlier at IHOP, I wasn't hungry. It was worth seeing what this store has to offer.

Very clean and convenient restaurant. They provide generous portions and for inexpensive prices. I enjoyed the menu a lot and the staff members were very personal and explanatory. Highly recommended.

It's the most disgusting place I've ever been. The women in red shirts are the worst and the tattooed eyebrow cashier knows nothing about customer service. I had an unpleasant experience there with a money transfer

Fernando Gomez

Excellent attention

Most business are doing there best during COVID but this establishment has violated customer trust. We went to enter the store and through the window we see multiple employees with mask strings around their ears and the mask totally off the mouth and nose hanging beneath their chins. One was behind the counter and another stocking shelves. What's crazy is the signs on the door informing all patrons that they must wear a mask AND gloves. In addition it warns of a $500 fine for failure to comply. This obviously doesn't apply to employees. Stay safe, stay away!!!

It is strange that I have to start to mention free parking in Rockville, but it is a cost of development.Las Americas is not the best Latin Food market, but any place that carries Queso Viajero automatically gets some stars added to its score. This cheese is seriously good and for some reason I have never seen it outside of Rockville. I have stepped into Latin grocery stores in NC, FL, and everywhere in between and people just give me a blank stare. The staff is okay and they offer contactless payment, which is nice in the time of Corona. Another nice item that they carry is Horchata mix. This is a bit easier to find in other locations, but they have pre-made ones in bottles or the powder so you can try and lessen the sweetness. They used to carry food ready to eat, but I didn't see it this past month probably because of that j*** 'Rona.
