Solid 3.5 for the following reasons: Seafood was fresh. Crab legs were meatier than you usually get from other places. Shrimps were jumbo too. Could use a different type of sausage. Avoid gumbo. It's the least gumbo that I've ever had. Liquidy. Little rice. More like a soup than gumbo. Service was good when it's not busy. It could be better but I understand how hard it is when you are the only server running the place.

Seafood overcooked. Customer service poor. We asked for Dungeness crab in garlic butter. It was water broth with garlic chunks. Cocktail sauce taste like pure catch up. Oysters fried not good either. Everything tasted the same Grease doesn’t taste changed. Don’t recommend AT ALL!!!

Have to give this place 5 stars to boost the rating.Easily the biggest and juiciest crawfish in the area (all DMV not just MD, I lived in DC/VA prior). Their sauce is more liquidy than you might be used to, but it has good flavor. The fire hot is VERY hot.Quality of crawfish this place cant be beat, please let me know if there is a place that has better craws. As for the sauce, I personally like the flavors at Hot n Juicy better. If you gave Hot n Juicy the crawfish from Live Crawfish & Seafood it would be the best crawfish place objectively… without question..

My first time and I can't say that I was completely disappointed. The food was good and I love the garlic butter over the crab legs. The crab meat was flavorful. Now let's talk about that Gumbo. Well it really isn't Gumbo it was more like a shrimp, veggie, and sausage soup. They forgot that Gumbo's magic is the roux..that flour and butter roux. The soup was tasty but it's not Gumbo by far. The fried catfish was really thin so the breading over powered the very thin catfish. I think it was pre-breaded frozen. The shrimp was slightly overcooked by ok and the oysters were actual good. Son8f you're looking for actual Gumbo..its not here. The crab legs were great!!!!

Nice little spot off Rockville Pike. Typically seafood spot with decent prices. I was worried when I picked my food up and saw an empty restaurant. However, the food was solid and their spice game is on point. Customer services isn't great but that's primarily because of a language barrier.

Variety of seafood and drink choices on the menu. The Dungeness crab legs are definitely worth the price. I enjoyed the corn and cocktails as well. Clean atmosphere, friendly waitress. Table or bar seating.

Best crawfish I’ve had in the DC area. I had a dozen oysters, 2 pounds crawfish, and a pound of the Dungeness crab. The style reminds me of Viet-Cajun crawfish I’ve had in Houston. Excellent big flavor but not oily like the Hot-and-Juicy chain. Good price and nice atmosphere. Big crawfish. Service did seem a little slow at the tables but I was at the bar so it was fine. HIGHLY Recommended!
It's a good place to try. There is plenty of parking and lots of space too. The servers were really sweet. They did seem a bit understaffed when we came but they did everything they could to make sure we all had a good experience The drinks were strong and tasty. Definitely try the Tokyo Tea! The food itself was fresh and the portions were big. I would say that the sauce is a bit more watery than other places I tried but it was still good nonetheless.

I ordered crawfish and shrimps from here last night with their flavor bomb sauce and the sauce was terrible. It wasn’t mixed well and felt like they just threw butter on the seafood and then threw some obay on top cuz the sauce had no flavor and yet the seafood on top was very very salty. Had to dump all the sauce away and make my own. The only good part was that the crawfish was good and it does taste like it’s live since they were sweet. The head on shrimp on the other hand was mushy and felt either over cooked or they’re just not as fresh.

The exterior of this restaurant is not that appealing but the inside was very cozy and cute with beach theme decorations! I had a pound of head-on shrimp with flavor bomb (all flavor) and medum spice level. The flavor bomb sauce was so good especially the garlic chunks on the bottom of the bowl. I loveeee garlic haha. Medium spice level wasn't spicy at all, so if you like spicy food then you should level up a lot. A pound of shrimp is probably too small for 2 people to share but it might be more than enough for 1 person average girl portion. But I also added some potatos and sausages as sides, so without any sides it's probably a good portion for one person. Also, our waitress was super nice :) we were sat by the window at first but she asked us if we were cold and moved us to a table toward the inside of the restaurant. I definitely want to come back to try some of their other seafoods!

Came here from a recommendation from a friend and I was not disappointed! I've been craving seafood boil for the longest time so when I finally got to try this place I was really excited. Their menu is kind of misleading in terms of what their space looks like but I thought it was kind of funny hahaha. Nevertheless, the food and service were really good! The space is decorated like if it was a beach town. They have a little bar section but otherwise just bunch of tables laid out around. Food-wise I really enjoyed the taste of it. Got the pound of shrimp with other add-ons and chose the all the way sauce. Definitely would recommend at least 1.5 pounds for one person. 2, if you're wanting that extra satisfaction. The pricing is not that bad actually to my surprise. That's coming from a broke boi. Going to try different seafood combos next time. TIP: the medium spice is not spicy at all LOL... so make sure to go higher if you're wanting more of a kick. Will definitely will be back!
