This was absolutely a fabulous experience. Just the olive oil and cheese with the Italian bread was a superior treat. Then we received our entrees which were huge and absolutely delicious. As an extra added bonus, the waitress was kind enough to let me try the cannoli filling because I had had a bad experience at another one of their restaurants. It was absolutely delicious. I was too full to order a whole one but next time we will do it. Kudos to Mama Mia's across from shady Grove hospital. Our waitress was extremely nice, friendly, professional and helpful. She was Johnny on the spot.

I came in for a quick lunch while waiting for a friend. I usually order food to go. Eating “in” was new for me. I loved it. I requested to eat in the small space that is used for parties. I was initially the only person. The area has a glass door and I closed it to reduce the chatter. Another lady joined the space to escape the lunch chatter.
I ordered a small pizza with one topping. Forgive me as I did not take a picture of the pizza. The bread that came first was good as was the olive oil that came with it. The staff are top notch and patient. Very helpful and accommodating.
I always come back….. we ordered pizza for lunch on another day!

The food is inconsistent (sometimes OK, usually mediocre), but the real turn-off is the wholly abrasive staff. Over literal decades, I've yet to visit a Mamma Lucia's location where it didn't seem to constitute a burden for the staff to help their paying customers.
Pamela at the Fallsgrove location is the epitome of rude, in a crowd of similarly rude folks. We won't visit again.

Food was decent. Pizza was slightly better than average. Pasta was average. Calamari was not good compared to other places I have tried. Service could be better.

I ordered pasta with lobster. My noodles were overcooked and the lobster was imitation. The manager removed the meal from my tab without issue. Other than that my wings and fries were pretty good.
Excellent food! We ordered a vegetarian pizza that was loaded with fresh veggies and chicken Marsala that was perfectly cooked!
Vegetarian options: The only vegetarian thing we tried was the pizza, but it was fresh and fabulous!

Since Covid the owner has decided to permanently add $3.50 to every customer. He has put it on the menu so you can't fight it. He should be ashamed of himself treating customers that way. Unfortunately the folks I have talked with assume it is the tip which it is not and I've told them before they go but they don't listen so the staff suffer because of the owner.
Kid-friendliness: sure they like kids because they add an extra charge for every person at the table.

It was my first experience, unfortunately I didn't like my orders at all! The pizza ( Mamma special) was stuck in the box that my son ate some pieces of the paper with his slices and very salty and my fried Zucchini was mushy and very oily, very thin.
