As a sushi enthusiast, I've enjoyed many high-end experiences in New York City, and I'm happy to say that Moko Sushi holds its own in comparison. While I'm not a professional critic, I appreciate quality, and Moko consistently delivers. One of the aspects I particularly value is the ideal temperature at which the sushi is served when dining in â a crucial factor for optimal flavor.

Stopped by at 10:00 pm on 12/7 and the door was locked. Hours of operation CLEARLY posted on the door as well as Google say they close at 10:30 on Saturday!
A lady ran up and opened the door to ask if I wanted to order carry out. I replied "No we want to dine in". She tells me to hold on a minute while she checks to see if we can come in only for her to tell me the same thing.
If you plan on locking your door a whole 30 minutes early, at least change your closing time on the internet and on your damn door sign!!
I had previously dined here before a few times but I will never be returning EVER.
Small family owned sushi. Always so nice. Smaller rolls but cheaper than some others around the area. Nice variation too.

We havenât ordered from here in a long time but dinner tonight was an awful experience. The shumai was mush. The seaweed salad tasted awful and was inedible. And weâre charged extra to have roe on a California roll. I donât know what the charge was but the amount of roe added was negligible! We wonât be going back here for a long time.
Is it the most amazing sushi in Moco? No, but itâs good! The fish tastes fresh, the presentation is nice, and the owners are always very nice.

Best sushi ever! My family and I love Moko Sushi and dine there on a regular basis. The service is outstanding. The atmosphere is causal. The sushi is consistently fresh. The yellow tail and scallops melt in your mouth. I highly recommend Moko Sushi.

Restaurantji Recommends
I ordered some takeout from here. When I arrived, I was surprised that there was not a single customer there at 8pm on a Friday night, despite every other restaurant in the plaza appearing busy. When I ate my sushi, I found out why: the food is just not very good.

They reduced the number of rolls per order recently. The rolls which were supposed to be baked (Volcano, Dynamite) were not baked in my order. If the oven is broken or something, they need to update menu to reflect that. I do not recommend this sushi restaurant, at least for take out orders.

The food is just not authentic Japanese at all. The tempura is over breaded. Tastes and looks like the frozen tempura from the grocery store. The miso soup is thin and barely a bite of tofu. And the teriyaki chicken was just some cooked chicken with sauce dumped on top. No flavor to the chicken. Unfortunately you will have to find your true Japanese flavors elsewhere.
