The service was excellent and the cashier was very friendly but the food definitely needs some TLC. The breakfast potato and eggs had no flavor and the French toast was topped with way too much cinnamon that we threw it away after only a few bites. There's definitely room for improvement but I love that it's seems to be a family owned business.

Absolutely wonderful place to grab something to eat! I am totally addicted to their pancake platter! The pancakes taste amazing, they remind me of truly homemade pancakes, I always get the sausage and eggs as my sides and they never disappoint! The service here is wonderful and prompt, and the gentleman who takes the orders is a ball of energy and it makes you feel good, especially in the morning when it’s easy to be dragging. Peter’s Grill is absolutely a regular go-to for me!

Firstly, I grew up and love a good " greasy spoon" dining experience. Peters is an old school breakfast establishment that makes egg sandwiches and platters on the spot with a limited menu. Great atmosphere. Good counter people. Good cooks etc. Don't come here. Expecting a Michelin star restaurant. This is the kind of place where you find a lot of contractors plumbers carpenters and electricians all stopping to grab an egg sandwich and go. It's inexpensive, it's good. Hot food, it's nothing fancy( which gives it its charm).Most of these small mom and pop places have gone by the wayside because of cheap processed McDonald's Burger King and Wendy's breakfast. I applaud Peter's for keeping it going and providing a good dining experience for people who don't need fancy, don't need glitzi, but what some good food and a good atmosphere.

Great service and quality food. The grill is nothing fancy but the grilled chicken sub was full of chicken breast meat slabs, and the fries were fresh, crispy, and hot. The guy behind the counter taking orders (Peter?) does so with gusto. Was just passing by and needed a quick lunch.

I have been driving past this place for at least ten years and finally decided to try it out. The service was pretty good, but the cheesesteak was a 4 out of 10. Based on the reviews, you would think that the cheesesteak is the best in Rockville. I guess the locals have never had a REAL CHEESESTEAK.
