This deli is inside a grocery store. So there is no reason why they should not have food The past three visits they have not had the ingredients to make food on their menu. The people working in the deli act as if it is an inconvenience to wait on a customer. I am done with this location.

One of the managers was really rude and seemed to derive pleasure from it a few years ago. It was right after my purse and wallet had been stolen, and the only way I could get cash at the time was to write a check after replacing my driver's license. I had their HQ on the phone. The headquarters was nice but the manager who was on duty was a woman who would not even listen to me at all, and refused to talk to the headquarters office I almost never go to that branch anymore. I hate the fact that one person's nastiness can have that kind of impact on me, but she was extremely disrespectful. This is nice a review as I can give her. Not only was she rude, but she refused to speak to her own headquarters! Calling her a jerk would be too nice to her.

I was there on Saturday 6 pm.Only self checkouts. Not one full service check out. I was told there were only self check outs.There should at least be one regular check out and it should be your choiceof which one to use....Won't go to thisstore again.....

This Safeway remind me of so many other Safeway's. I tend to find them cramped, crowded and underwhelming. They have what you have but you may have to search. Prices seam good as well. The staff was helpful when I asked.

Do Not get the small salad from here. The one that is 50% off. I got it and after eating it started having a runny nose. And the next day I got covid.

I went to Safeway at 7:45am on my way to work on Friday. They had self checkout stations opened and only one cashier at a regular checkout station, who had her light off and two people with very large checkout orders. I went to self checkout to buy Theraflu and soup and rang up the Theraflu first knowing someone would have to come help, due to it being age restricted. Nobody was working self checkout to help. I stood there waiting. Two workers walked right past me and ignored me when I tried to ask for help. I left my order and walked to customer service to ask for help. Nobody was working there either. I tried to just cancel the Theraflu off the order, but again you need assistance. After about 10 minutes, I ended up leaving my entire order because there was barely any workers and the few workers that were there were too busy to even acknowledge that I needed help. I wouldn't recommend going here if you actually want to be able to get groceries.

I'm lucky enough to have a few different Safeway stores close to me. I stopped off at this location in Kings Farm because it was closest to another store I had to go to. This location has plenty of parking and multiple entrances so it's easy to get in and out of. Overall, this store is good. It's easy to shop at this location. They've got friendly and helpful staff. I can usually find what I want here. The deli is good. Although their fried chicken at this location isn't so great. The breading on the fried chicken is too thick/heavy and hard. Fried chicken at the Fallsgrove location is 1000% better. Last visit had plenty of produce, dairy and meat/seafood. I know a few other stores are having supply chain issues, but most of the Safeways I've been to have been okay so far.

This one's for the Deli only... extremely rude and aggressive behavior, horrible experience...as of now. I started coming to this Safeway a couple of weeks ago and got one of the ready made subs, turkey snd cheese, and headed out. Once I arrived at my destination and unwrapped the sub I found "a ton" of what looked like and tasted like mayo, and two packets of yellow mustard. I had to take the sub apart and scrape off the mayo. I thought nothing of it, I figured maybe that's how they make it or somebody asked or it like that and it got put out or mixed up with the other subs by mistake. That was that. I went back today to do some shopping and picked up another sub and as I was walking past the deli I asked about what the standard amount of mayo they regularly put on the sub and explained what had happened. There were two people behind the counter at the time I walked up and asked the question. One lady insisted adamantly that they never put mayo on the subs only in packets, and when I tried to explain what I saw, felt and tasted myself to which she increased her emphasis and repeated herself as if I didn't know what mayo is. Just then the other lady, very professionally explained to me that that's not how the subs were supposed to be made and that if that was the case it may have been a mistake. As she was doing that, the other lady was still trying to explain how that's not possible. And again the only reason I was asking was because I was purchasing another sub and I wanted to make sure it wasn't full of mayo. So I walked away to the register made my purchases as I was walking out remembered that I needed to get some roast beef also. I walked back to the deli and went to the other side or there was another lady cutting meat and helping another customer, I stood to the side until the other customer walked away and I was looking around to see how they were addressing the queue. So I asked her if there was a number dispenser or the ilk. She turns around and aggressively says "if you just stand there somebody will see you and they will come to help you" And again the same lady that was helpful earlier rushed over hurriedly and answered that no the don't have a numbering system . At this point, being fairly agitated and rightfully so, I asked her what's going on here today and asked to speak with a manager but then decided to remove myself from the situation and reach out later.

This review is for the Bakery section at this store. They made me an awesome custom birthday cake. Wonderful job Laura. Even the bakery manager was impressed. Thank you again.

(3.25) ~ pretty good overall conventional grocery store. It's smaller than other Safeways I've been to, but should have most of the items you need.

Never ever shop at this store. April 2020, coronavirus nighmare, every penny counts, and this store is refusing to accept return. Handcream purchased by mistake, seal is there (photo attached) but citing customer service representatives: I'm sorry but we are not accepting returns. Fine, here is your 1 star rating.
