This place is amazing. I checked it out because I am a member at the yoga studio next door. Saffron has delicious vegan and gluten-free options and service is always great. My favorite dish is the vegetable Manchurian.

Visited Saffron earlier this afternoon. Being a Sunday, there was no musical chair game, plenty of space. The owner could not have been more accommodating and personable. The cuisine was delicious and filling. We each got an entree and shared . There were 6 of us ladies and we were treated like Royalty. Must and will go back. Reasonable prices. Thank you Saffron.

I was there by mistake but the food was delicious. I asked for non spicy and they gave me non spicy curry for my kid. I am impressed because most of the places when i ask non spicy it still has spice in it, But they made the food fresh non spicy just on my request. The chaat was by far the best things even and the naan are to die for. The chicken needed to be cooked longer but the taste was good. Will definitely be returning to this place even though its like 40min away from me. Highly recommend

I eat here about once a month after trying about every other Indian carryout restaurant in the area. They have always made good food, but I swear it has gotten even better lately. New management maybe?? By far the best value Indian food in Rockville. I highly recommend!

We had the sag paneer (homemade cheese in spinach sauce), bhindi masala (okra and tomato), and tandoori chicken. I have eaten at many of the finest restaurants in the dc area, Indian and otherwise, and have eaten indian cuisine in London and New Delhi. Their use of spice was well done although may be more spicy than the typical American palate. The chicken was tender and flavorful, delicious. We just happened to stop by here in the middle of a snow storm and what a GREAT surprise. They treated us like royalty. Food and service were excellent!

Used to have one of the best value lunch buffets around in Montgomery County; complimentary table naan was always freshly baked, & had a good variety of dishes; a seafood dish & a lamb curry on the weekends or the usual chicken & veggie dishes on the weekdays, and a homemade tasting soup of the day, 1-2 desserts too.Current lunch special for COVID takeout goes for 12.95$ for either a chicken meal of butter chicken/chicken curry/veggie curry dish + plain rice & naan + “3 veggie side dishes” which sounds like the usual small Indian lunch chana (beans).

First time trying this restaurant and they did not disappoint. First off, I appreciate the effort they put into their menu by labeling all the gluten free options. I'm gluten intolerant and going out can be very nerve wrecking. I always appreciate when restaurants label their menu with food allergies/intolerances. The food we ordered was absolutely delicious, hot, and bursting with flavor. They also give a discount for when you order carry out which was a nice surprise at check out. The employees were very kind and everyone was following covid rules which was comforting. I can't wait to go back and try some other dishes.

Hi,I got fascinated by comments and went for dinner. My wife order chat, which is really good, 5 stars for chat. Now let's come to my dinner, pathetic. I ordered chilly chicken and fried rice. It was like frozen veg in oil fried rice and chilly chicken was like tomato puree, color, chicken and salt. Ruined my evening, and I am from India, shifted recently. The worst food avaliable, I upfront told the gentleman that your chef need classes on how to cook. Sorry, but disappointed to core......... Plus vegetable added to fried rice smell like aged frozen vegetables. I seriously feel snakes in stomach, hope won't get food poisoning.

This spot is my favorite. I go to plenty of restaurants but to this place I constantly return again and again. The crew is very receptive and the food they cook is so flavorful. I never miss an opportunity to have a good dinner in this restaurant. Highly recommended.

Always a great deal on great Indian food (I lived three years in India) and even better during Covid. The owner has always been very helpful but now even more so.H has been willing to craft a mini buffet of my favorite dishes at a fair price and it is big enough to feed my wife and I two meals each.
