Typical diner if there is such a thing. Shopping mall location. Plenty of parking. Menu makes this above average. With friends, we were seated promptly, Waitress arrived quickly and took a variety of orders. Food was served in a reasonable amount of time. All were pleased with their selection. Desserts are huge.

Tyest B was our server. He was great. Let us know our burgers were close to being served. We didn't need to ask when it was taking so long. Refilled our drinks without asking. Next time we're there we hope to get Tyest as our server.

For a long time I was reluctant to try this diner, or any of its sister diners, for fear it was a faux diner with just a veneer. I was completely wrong. While it's not cheap, and has a very extensive menu,bthe food is quite good, and served quickly. Mesmerized by the large crew of workers efficiently bustling about. I've gone twice recently; once for a weekend breakfast and once for a weekday lunch. Both meals were delicious. I highly recommend the smashburger with shoestring fries. Will return to try more of the menu options, including salads and entree.

Silver Diner has been my favorite for many years. The food and portions are very good. I am writing this review because I had a great experience recently with the staff. I did a carryout and Miss Carolina took my order. She was very nice and courteous, and her attitude was very pleasant and helpful. When the food was ready, she walked over to my seat and handed me the carryout bag with a sweet smile. Honestly this type of attitude by restaurant staff gives a great impression of the restaurant. To customers.

I had the protein pancakes with pistachios and blueberries. I was drawn to them because they have vegan whipped cream (oat milk) but the pancakes were amazing!!

When I walked up the the front door, there was a lady sitting on a bench just outside the door asking for money. I had the Hawaiian Luau burger.
They try to be fancy instead of a basic diner. Meatloaf had a funny spice. Gravy instead of bbq sauce or ketchup. Corn out of a can. Patty Melt was decent. Had arugula. Again, fancy instead of basic. Fries were good. Chicken noodle soup was not good. Mushy noodles.

i really like the vibe the place has. service was very slow and my grilled cheese was awful. how do you mess up a grilled cheese sandwich? my waitress was very nice. but prices were good. i had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. but the music machine at each table was cool. but because i am broke i couldnt play a song. woulda loved to see running up that hill by kate bush on it tho. they were happy to replace my sandwich which the much better chicken tenders. my dad says they overspiced everything.
