Amazing food! Way better quality than any fast food healthy restaurant I have tried! Wild caught fish! I don’t eat meat for me is like a paradise!
Parking: Plenty of parking
These stars are for the shrimp burrito, always filling and always a treat. You'll get your money's worth. In stark contrast, though, is the Hawaiian Bowl (photo attached). Don't do it...I've also had the chowder fries (4/5 - tasty) and the lobster grinder (3/5 - good, on the fence about the price).
Ordered the ultimate fish taco and fish&chips. The fry was good but not much flavor. The sauces that came with the fish and chips were good but that was about it. Overall, it was OK. I’d rather go to Fish Taco by Old Georgetown Rd.
I am having the worst the worst stomach pain right now and I took a bite a bite of the fried pickle and that’s all I ordered thank goodness. First time at this place omg!!!!! You guys!!!! I think these were pickled onion that completely soaked the fried pickle but thankfully it showed what I was really about to bite into ? not sure what the oily substance was underneath them either but when you order fried food you want it crispy and a good pickle not an old soggy one
This place....hmmm very good. I just happen to see it coming from home depot designed center and wanted to check it out. Keep in mind I never knew this place exist. The item I had was really good fish ? barramundi was excellent. I highly recommend this place. A good choice to enjoy a heated meal.
Just tried Slapfish for the first time. Asked the guy what he would recommend and he hooked me up with the Shrimp burrito and a small chowder soup with chips. Man! That was some of the best seafood I've had in a long time. Great service. Great food. Cannot wait to go back.
I got the power bowl and lobster taquitos. The bowl was excellent. I had to mix it all together real good. And they made it without the cauliflower for me even though I said it was okay if they couldn’t. Will dine in next time.
I stumbled across this great restaurant as I was enjoying Bethesda during one of my outings. When we arrived I was glad the place was not busy since I had so many questions. It is a casual restaurant that requires you to order at the counter and then you can select your seat. By the time our food arrived, the crowd rushed in. We ordered the traditional lobster roll and the ultimate fish taco. Let me start off by stating the lobster roll was perfection with the right amount of lobster on a nice buttered roll. I wanted to keep the roll up to my mouth and never stop chewing but there was too much lobster. The ultimate taco was huge paired together with the right seasonings and fresh herbs had me asking "where have you been all my life." The fries were hot served with a spicy sauce (forget the ketchup). Afterwards, I wanted to lick my fingers and sit back but I remembered I was in public. Next time I will definitely take it home!
This is my favorite fast casual format restaurant in town. I always get the fish and chips and it's been consistently good. Chris and the rest of the staff are cordial and professional. The facility is always clean and orderly. I recommend Slapfish without reservation.
Delicious Surf and Turf burger and Shrimp roll! It was our first time here but we will be back for more! It was fresh and the flavors was spot on and delicious, have to give compliments to our Chef Keith for having it done to perfection.

I absolutely loved this place. I had the lobster taquitos appetizer and clobster grilled cheese with fries. That sandwich tasted so good! I’ll definitely be coming back!
I'm giving 4 stars because it is really good value for money. I ordered Fish and Chips. Portions were generous. Fries were good but if I'm really honest the white fish was not top notch. It was OK. Not horrible.
Really good, however they forgot to put fries in my burrito. A shame since it was a element of the dish I was excited about. Also no salsa with chips or tomatoes missing inside the burrito, again another miss. I’ll be back, but expect better.
Fish and chips were nicely done. Crispy crust on the out side, fish was fresh. Lobster roll was not very good. What we really liked was the clam chowder. On the service side, some improvement is needed for staff who takes order. Food came fast.
In Rockville for a meeting and had time for lunch. We decided on Slapfish since I like seafood and had never heard of Slapfish. Very nice menu with good seafood choices. We decided on the fish & chips and glad we did. Very fresh fish cooked just right with an amazing flavor. I have been to England and Ireland and have had some good fish & chips, but Slapfish takes the prize for the best. I am glad we stopped, and I now know where to go for great fish and chips. Stop in and check out Slapfish.
