BEST vegan spot in Rockville. AMAZING flavors. You can tell the ingredients are fresh/high quality. The veg loaf is my favorite and the pho broth is to die for 🤤 Most moist/soft gluten free bun in the area lol. PLUS the owner is so kind and the food is ready super quick. They’re franchising which I’m excited to hear, I trust they’ll sustain their amazing menu and flavors.

I've eaten at St. Veg six times, during which I've had the Japanese Katsu Curry Bowl; the Shredded Medley Bowl; the gluten-free Spaghetti and Veg Balls; the Crispy Flower Bites and Crispy Tater Tots with dipping sauce; and the Apple Pie. Everything has been tasty and filling. It's great that the food is fresh and locally sourced. The restaurant is very casual and has outdoor seating as well. Every time I've been there, the server has been extremely helpful when I was placing my order, even remembering that I like coffee. Updated from previous review on 2025-09-12

Looking for vegan planted based options in the DMV can be a little challenging and I’m so glad that St. Veg is on the scene to make it little easier.

The Asian cuisine focused restaurant prides itself on not cooking with any processed mock meats or food additives.

Everything that comes out of the kitchen is made from scratch everyday and only uses local and organic produce.

During my visit I ordered the Flavor Bomb Pho Dip which was packed with mushrooms and the Fresh Summer Rolls that were crunchy and filling.

I was so impressed by their food that I might make the trek out to Rockville on a more regular basis.

Very delicious and healthy for you. They use avocado oil only and we loved that they have different options to choose from.

I liked the ease of self checkout. Food was very bland. Drinks were watered down. Nothing I would want to have again. The bathroom had an outer lock, so you have to get a code to enter. Not ideal, but tolerable. It was strangely hot inside though, like it has a heater going in the middle of summer. Started to sweat before leaving the bathroom, and the hand dryer didn't function.

I genuinely never give bad reviews even if the quality is a little bad but I had to make an exception. The food was so bad and bland, lacking salt and any kind or flavour. The drinks were watery. The Eggplant dish was DRENCHED in oil and not cooked through. The two different kind of sandwiches tasted more like sandpaper. Like eating raw sawdust. The only real edible food were the tater tots. Im sure they are trying their best to be healthy and provide a good vegan service but I was genuinely appalled at the food and had an incredibly bad experience.

I ordered vege balls (3 balls) as a side and sunshine pancakes (both gluten and soy free). The vege balls are really tasty. The pancakes, though pretty and delicate, are smaller in potion sizes than I expected. For the price, it’s not filling but still worth trying. The menus are carb-heavy though. I’d try the pho next time.

The atmosphere was pretty good - clean and peaceful. The staff was friendly.

Absolutely delicious vegan food with fresh, high quality ingredients. The tater tots, the banh mi, the fried cauliflower bites (and i don't even like cauliflower!)--you can't go wrong! I highly recommend visiting during the week because the woman who works on the weekend (or at least on Saturdays) is an incredibly unpleasant individual, which is such a shame because the owner is so kind and welcoming.

This is my 2nd time here. A week ago the restaurant was closed during lunchtime, no note. Very excited to try a vegan menu and had the Katsu bowl - have to say I miss these types of items the most as a 6 year plant-based dieter. Service was great, asked for recommendations. Katsu was pretty good, protein was not bad for lentil vs. fake meat. Good portion sizes and value. Fast service. I will say that parking is a bear during lunchtime...I've figured out to park in the neighborhood and just walk across the street, so much calmer.

Their food is delicious. My favorite ones are Flavor bomb, and if you like spicy, Mumbai burguer is 👌🏻

Delicious! I had the Bahn Mi sandwich and it was very good. Flavorful and filling. Friendly service and a bright, clean atmosphere

I expect there to be a drop off in flavor when modifying a dish to be plant based but the drop off here was much smaller than I expected. All the dishes were very flavorful.

My favorite was the shredded medley bowl. The flavor bomb pho dip was on the saltier side but it truly did have a ton of flavor. I can see why it's a best seller.

Friendly service, nice environment as well. I think this is a great place if you are vegetarian or are looking to eat something healthy.
