The food was excellent. The only reason I gave 4 stars for service and atmosphere is because I was there on a Sunday for lunch and was not able to enjoy full ambiance, I'm sure.

The restaurant was empty and very quiet; but they had a ton of takeout orders being picked up. Our server was pleasant and showed the correct amount of attention. The food was hot, fresh and delicious!

Parking: The lot was crowded, but people were probably out doing post Christmas shopping. The lot had parking near top of the lot.

Tara Thai was always one of the best Thai restaurants in the DC area. Not sure why their ratings have declined. I know they had a slow recovery from the pandemic, hopefully they are on the upswing.The last few dinners we have had here were excellent.During the most recent visit, we had the spring rolls and chicken dumplings for appetizers. The spring rolls were solid, though the dumplings were a little on the bland side.For dinner, we had the Pattaya noodles and the Spicy Eggplant....
