I’ve mostly ordered the onigiri and it’s pretty good. It takes some time to prepare so be patient, it’s worth it especially the sauce. Their addition of mochinuts to the menu are also very delicious! The location is a nice alternative hangout for sober friends. There’s games, high top tables, and a good amount of space. Parking can be tricky if you drive.

Literally stood at the counter to order and was never greeted or asked what I would like. The staff was not friendly and continue to work on drinks while I stood at the counter for over 10 minutes. A group of Caucasian ladies walked in and they were immediately attended. I'm a single latino male. I left without ordering.

Mochi-nuts are great but every single drink I’ve had as been bad. Not “okay” or “so-so”. Bad.

Stopped in for 3 mochinuts and got the red velvet, fruity pebble and ube. The mochinuts were delicious. They each had their own chewy texture that I'm used to with mochi. Surprisingly, I liked the fruity pebbles one the best while my daughter liked the ube one. Service was fast, it's a cute interior with plenty of seating, prices could be slightly better like 6 for 10$.

I'm surprised to read the review from last year because I had a really seamless experience at mochinut. I wasn't sure if I was at the right place but the Teado signs are not as prominent and there's still a grand opening sign for Mochinut. The inside was clean and spacious. I ordered a taro donut. The donut was chewy and the frosting on the top was subtle and not overly sweet! I thought it was one of the better mochi donuts in the area!

i’ll preface this by saying i’ve frequented Tea Do Rockville over the past 4 years and they had some of the best bubble tea in the DMV area. as of recently when they partnered with Mochinut, the change in management led to a nose dive in the quality and service. the combination of theirs stale tapiocas with the bland milk tea results in a 1/5 star review, please go back to just tea do, mochinut ruined you.- ex-loyal Tea Do customer

Stated they’re only serving green tea because they were closing “soon.” Don’t understand the concept of staying open if you can’t cater to your customers needs.

Mirroring another review, there milk tea is bland and the sugar they use taste horrible. One of the Worst boba spots in the area honestly. Ended up giving me a bland cup of milk tea with NO ice.

Got a smoothie there that wasn’t blended properly and tasted like straight up ice. Horrible experience.

I never expected to give a boba place a one-star rating. The Milk Tea was disappointingly bland, lacking authenticity, and definitely made from powder. The fruit tea felt like diluted concentrate syrup. Given the price, there are far better places worth exploring.

They are so understaffed. Only two girls working and big groups of people waiting for their order. I feel bad for those girls.

I work in the shopping center of this business and purchase here often. The food and drinks are fine, but the staff here are very rude and treat you like a burden. On this specific occasion, I walked in today at 12:47pm to place an order and the place was empty. I greeted the lady at the register (short with brown curly hair) and she blatantly ignored me after glancing up at me quickly, then doing something on the computer. I recognized her because this is the second time she’s treated me this way. I felt so dismissed. I didn’t want to order with her at all so I left and placed my order online. Honestly, I’d rather support a business that treats customers with decency at the least, but I’m stuck at work. If you’d rather support a friendly business and looking for great Tea on Rockville Pike, visit GONG CHA instead.
