Great atmosphere. Interesting goods and decent original milk tea. But the guy working the counter was so snappy. He was on his phone the whole time and i had to say “excuse me” multiple times before he took my order.

(Milk tea has dairy free options) My fiancée and I decided on a whim to stop here, and we are incredibly thankful we did. We had only intended to stop by for coffee and maybe a brioche, but we enjoyed a full meal instead. I got the “Dirty chocolate snow”, a summer drink menu chocolate slush, and the incredibly delicious Japanese Spicy Beef Curry Bun & a Lava Cheese Tart. My fiancée got a Matcha Milk Tea, and an Oreo Chocolate Fruit (think of Oreo and strawberry in a chocolate long bun) & a “Pork Sung & Onion Hot Dog.” Every bite was delicious, even though we entirely forgot about the toaster oven available for use to heat up the pastries. Every second of our experience here has been wonderful, and we will most certainly be returning again to try more, if not all, of their menu. (Attached photo is the Lava Cheese Tart with some Oreo and crème from the Oreo Chocolate Fruit, I felt it looked particularly photogenic) [We also saw an absolutely MASSIVE Pancake Soufflé be brought past us to a table and will absolutely be trying it next time]

I’m surprised to find there are so many asian style bakery (chinese i mean), great taste and good price. The drinks (not sure about cafe) was not recommended for the taste.

The baristas were so nice and offered to make me a delicious dark chocolate latte with oat milk when I asked for something chocolatey. Seats are extremely comfortable and they even played The Smiths ? alongside other chill, non-annoying beats, which was very conducive to studying. I strongly recommend this café as one of the nicest and least overcrowded in the DC area.

Spent around $35 so we did try a few things. The food was hit or miss, much like the customer service—mostly a miss. A friend even referred to one as “the plastic one.” I’m a dessert person who always finishes a pastry, but I had no problem tossing these out. It’s one of those places where the aesthetics is supposed to make up for product quality/taste. It’s for the socials.

Issue with store and employees Missing AirPods at Teamania – Need Immediate Action
I visited Teamania on October 23, 2024, and sat at a table with half-booth, half-chair seating. Unfortunately, I accidentally left my AirPods on the windowsill. By the time I noticed they were missing, it was the closing time. When I checked their location through Find My iPhone, the AirPods were still at Teamania.
As of the morning of October 24, 2024, their location still showed as being at the bakery. I promptly called as soon as the store opened, but despite multiple attempts, I have not received any useful information about my AirPods’ whereabouts. So I went in person. The only explanation I was given was that the person who closed on the night of the 23rd is new, and their attempts to reach this individual have been unsuccessful. Additionally, no one has been able to provide further updates or return my calls. My calls are also now not being answered.
It has now been several hours without any resolution or follow-up. (Update: Now Day 2)
At this point, I expect Teamania to take immediate action to resolve this matter. This should include:
1. Contacting the employee who closed the store on the 23rd. 2. Reviewing any available security footage. 3. Providing me with a clear update on the status of my AirPods Or getting me new ones.

My friends and I drove about 30mins to Tea Mania to have souffle only to be told we had to wait 40-45mins for it because 2 people just placed an order. At first, we thought the barista made a mistake. Therefore, we asked to clarify. We heard correctly! Because there is only one souffle machine to support the business, the souffles could not be done. Unbelievable! I am wondering just about how much business this place loses?? So, we were stuck with eating pastry we didn't want because we were so hungry. But Brandon, Barista, came over to the table and so concerned about the situation that he offered 2 complimentary anything we wanted. This young man turned an unfortunate situation around! Now that's what I call good customer service! Yea Mania…Brandon is an assest. Very sweet person and employee. Thank-you, Brandon
