This place does not deserve the bad reviews some people gave it. I went in with fairly low expectations, but it turned out to be superb. The atmosphere is very old-style, classic Italian. Lots of wood, low lighting, comfortable tables and booths scattered about. The background music is 1940-era big band stuff, which sets a very Dean Martin-Frank Sinatra romantic kind of mood. I had a good time and the service was so attentive. The solo portions are still large enough to share with one other person. The "familia" portions are really for 4 people. Just FYI (lol!)
