The ice cream and pastries together is delicious and Nutella is such a good idea to put on ice cream! The people working there are really nice!

I loved the Baked Bear. The service are so polite and friendly. They made the ice cream sandwich so great. It tastes delicious and chewy. I would definitely come here again. I'm glad I chose it. I ordered a chocolate chip cookie sandwich with vanilla ice cream, rainbow sprinkles, m&ms, hot fudge, and brownie bites.

PLEASE do yourself a favor and try this place out. Both the cookies & ice cream are out of this world, best ice cream shop in the DMV!
This place is extremely popular, so be prepared to wait for your ice cream. They have a great concept with freshly baked cookies and hand dipped ice cream, so you can make a bowl with a cookie, ice cream and toppings, or an ice cream sandwich, or just get ice cream or just a cookie.
That being said, you've got one ice cream choice and one cookie option- although it sounds like they have two different cookies that are vegan but usually only have one at a time. The vegan ice cream isn't even in the case with the other ice cream, and the vegan cookie is also not displayed. If you read the menu board, you'll know to ask for it, but otherwise, you might turn around and leave.
The ice cream is a chocolate chip ice cream that tastes like vegan cream with a little bit of chocolate flavor from the chocolate chips. The cookie was also a chocolate chip cookie, which was a little grainy and a little too sweet. I would've liked more sweetness in the ice cream and less in the cookie, but together, it balances out.
An ice cream sandwich here is the size of a meal, literally, so plan accordingly if you like to eat all your food! The seating is outside, not inside, so, plan for that, too.
Great that they have a vegan ice cream and cookie option, but, it would be great if they had at least two of each at any given moment.

Honestly, it felt a bit overrated to me. Sure, it’s nice that you can get warm cookies for your ice cream sandwich, but the ice cream itself was just alright. We tried a few flavors, and unfortunately, none of them really stood out. That said, the staff and service were great—super friendly and helpful. I’ll probably come back to try their brownie sandwich next time and see if that changes my mind.
