beer selection much better at other places in the neighborhood (Pike Beer and Gilley's) - if you like Hazy IPA's check out the amazing Other Half selection at Pike Beer. Also the deli has weird hours - we went there for lunch during weekdays and weekends around 1pm and we were told "deli doesn't open til 5pm"??? Beer prices were on the high side, like Gilley's. All in all, for takeout beer Pike Beer is the best IMO. For example, Dogfish 90 Minute IPA $1 less at Giley's and $2 less at Pike Beer.

This is my favorite neighborhood spot for a quick bite & beer! The owners put lots of care into the quality of the food & their beer/wine selections. I highly recommend stopping in to check it out.(This was a proper pint—I just had to take a sip!)

Can I give 10 stars?A very nice liquor store that has also a space with tables and chairs, where you can sit and enjoy your drinks and buy their delicious pizzas, chicken tenders or sandwiches! They also offer some tap beers! Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere!

The thing that makes this place the most wonderful place to go is the owner Joe! Joe is so welcoming and always has a smile on his face and when you walk in everyone calls out your name like in the show Cheers. If you want to go to a place "where everyone knows your name" go to Joe's Beer & Wine Cellar.

So convenient due to it being right next to where I live! Also best prices, quality,and quantity of wine. If you are around I suggest stopping in and getting yourself some chilled pinit grigio. Good stuff, will not disappoint.

one of the best thin crust pizzas in Rockville, better than most i ate even in NYC. besides that they have draft beers, house wine or any other wine you may like among hundreds in the cellar. good fair prices. outside and inside seating. wide screen TV to watch the latest live game. can seat groups of 15 outside and inside. family run small business. help them out if you are in the area and have a good time chatting with the owner and locals. join the Monday tango dance or karaoke night.

The Beer and Wine Cellar is a place with several remarkable things. As its name states, the beer and the wines are of exceptional quality. The wine section offers a vast range of flavors and tannins. Also, the place provides excellent food too. I recommend you to try the chicken Parmesan sandwich; it is delicious. The prices are affordable. The best asset of this familiar place is Joe, his wife, and his daughters. The best people.
