We had a delightful evening with friends at Tower Oaks Lodge. Sat at a table outside where we enjoyed delicious food that was prepared just rightđ§âđłđ
We had a wonderful experience! Our server, Dawn, was fantastic â she was funny, attentive, and made excellent suggestions. Even though the restaurant was busy, we never felt rushed. The menu had great options, and every staff member we interacted with was welcoming and friendly. The manager, Mariam, was especially delightful â personable, funny, and made us feel right at home. My wife absolutely loved the bread pudding, saying it was the best she's ever had. We're already looking forward to coming back!
We were able to enjoy the front porch for lunch today and thoroughly enjoyed it before bug season begins! My friend and I both had the falafel salad and enjoyed it very much. Clydes Tower Oaks is always a winner.
great cream of crab soup , as always the octopus salad : the sauce was too spicy and seemed to overwhelm the dish Lemon Ricotta Ravioli was very good
Good neighborhood restaurant for lunch or dinner. Lovely atmosphere and staff is very gracious and griendly. Highly recommend.
Long story short, our experience at Tower Oaks Lodge was extremely disappointing. My wife booked the place a few weeks in advance for a dinner with our business partners. Everything seemed fine, and we arrived on time, but thatâs where the problems began. Jacob, who greeted us at the front desk, insisted that we had to wait until all our partners arrived, even though the majority of our group was already there. After a 15-minute wait, during which our reserved table sat empty, he called his manager, who started an unnecessary argument with me. The manager asked ridiculous questions, like whether I wanted to meet him at the front desk or by the table. I just wanted to sit down with my group, including my wife and a 2-month-old baby in a stroller, but they continued to stall us. Eventually, a lady came over and explained a questionable âpolicyâ about seating, which didnât make sense. To top it off, they gave us an incredibly uncomfortable table for six, right next to the fireplace, with absolutely no space for the stroller, despite my wife notifying them in advance. When we asked for an alternative, they offered an even worse table. The table itself was terribleâthere wasnât enough space for six people, and it felt like it was probably against code. There was no room for our feet under the table, and the tabletop was cramped as well. If you ever decide to visit this place, avoid the area near the fireplace; itâs the worst seating option. The only positive part of our experience was our waiter, who was professional and attentive. However, everything else went downhill. We ordered fried calamari, which tasted awful, like the oil hadnât been changed in ages. Worse, everyone who had fish at our table got food poisoning. My wife vomited non-stop after we got home and may need to go to the hospital. If the front desk staff were already this unwelcoming and unorganized, itâs no surprise that the kitchen staff might be neglecting basic hygiene and food safety. The restaurantâs prices are high, but the quality of food and service doesnât come close to matching them. Donât be fooled by the photos and reviews on Google or Yelpâthey are clearly misleading. Thank you, Tower Oaks Lodge, for poisoning us and giving us an uncomfortable, overcrowded table. We will never return.
It was my husband's 75th birthday. This was mentioned when we made our reservation and when we were seated. No recognition was given to him. As we were leaving, we met someone who turned 70 and they told us that they gave him a complimentary dessert. As often as we go to Clydes, I feel that the service toniight was not up to par.
We love Clyde's Tower Oaks for brunch. We have a 15 month old great granfson who also loves it for all the items in the place. Food is great, good portions and we have always had the best servers.
We were seated immediately ( we did have a reservation). Our server told us about the different rooms because we had never eaten in this room before. Food was excellent and my son got a free dessert for his birthday ( they do read your reservation note).
Highlight: Georges Bank Scallops. Melt in your mouth, absolutely fresh, piquant vanilla butter sauce with the lemon relish. Also: crisp, well-seasoned zucchini chips with excellent dipping sauce.

This restaurant offers such wide variety of foods. Our go to are the steak salads and sandwiches. We also like the seafood. The desserts are excellent and should not be missed. When I go with a group, we all order did dinners and each one comes out delicious. When it's just two of us, we opt to share. The sandwiches are made fresh and the bread is so hot and soft. But the best part of our dining experience is the waitstaff. Dawn is always so professional and warm and extremely attentive. She amazes us. Last Monday the place was packed and I saw her go to all her tables and she was perfect. She was personable and took her time with the customers. Jacob, a server is so sweet and incredible. He brings out the dishes along his arm without falling! He always has a smile and such a nice guy. So. If you're looking for a restaurant with great food and wonderful servers, this is your place. Also, if you just want to go and stay by the bar, do it. It is very vibrant. TO is the place to go. Enjoy!
I had the crab soup and Cobb salad which were both good. It seems the crab soup recipe has changed once or twice- I liked the original Clyde's recipe best but this one is good- with lumps of meat. Cobb salad was good. Everything costs more now so it's a pricey everywhere, but the overall experience makes the money worth the dining out. We sat in the main room and always love that decor best. Our waiter was excellent and food was delivered in a timely manner. It didn't seem that busy at 12nn and therefore was more quiet but it started getting filled up around 1230pm and the noise level was more moderate.
A table of 4, we opted to sit outside and enjoy the wonderful weather. I know restaurant prices are up, but $4.50 for a coke? My half rack of ribs, I was told was more than enough for a hungry person, I have to disagree. It was delicious, but for the price, not so much. All in all, we had a wonderful time except for the mosquitos. We cut our conversations short as we were being eaten alive, of course sitting outside next to a standing pond, we only have ourselves to blame.
We celebrated a birthday and Tower Oaks Lodge didn't disappoint. We are returning diners because we enjoy the food, atmosphere, and accessibility Tower Oaks Lodge offers. It was a great evening!
This place is ok. The food's ok, the ambiance is nice, the service is good, but given the food I think it's a little overpriced. It's a nice place when you want a table for 8 or even a holiday meal for 4. For the rest of the year there are better places nearby.
