We have been many times to your restaurant and have always been very very happy with our meal. However on Saturday we all chose the pork schnitzel which was featured on the menu. Unfortunately it was terrible. Not at all like a schnitzel but the worst part was that all the meals were overcooked and completely burned on the edges. My husband sent his back with the waitress to show the chef the problem

This is my go-to choice when having lunch with friends since we gather for conversation as well as food. The back dining room is pretty quiet even when full. The bacon cheeseburger and the turkey panini were exceptional, and our server was fantastic. We lingered for 2+ hours and never felt rushed. Parking is easy and the setting is attractive. The lunch crowd skews older together with groups of all kinds. Large roomy bar area where I noticed several people working on their computers so this may be a place to have lunch when you need to get out of the office but still do some work.

Tower Oaks is a a regular lunch spot and has been for several years now. I don't know how they do it, but they provide consistently good food and service -- and am very grateful that they do. This visit was yet another perfect one. The chicken cobb salad was great and the pumpkin-pecan pie is back!! Kudos to the entire staff for a great time.

Been coming here for years. For the first time we noticed that the portion size of one our favorite appetizers, the crab and artichoke dip. Was MUCH smaller than before. One order used to be enough for four, now it was not enough for three. We also ordered a dozen oysters for an appetizer, and they never came. The ribeye steak was good, it was a thick cut ordered medium rare and the center was a bit rare, but still good overall. The sautéed mushrooms were fantastic.

Another outstanding meal at one of our favorite restaurants. Upon entering at the check-in desk, my bride asked the fellow for a suggestion. The GiGi burger, he said. I had it and it was magnificent. Also enjoyed the crab soup, which could have come in a gallon pail and I would have scarfed it. Wife had a green salad with chicken added; she was pleased. Beers were excellent. Dessert was to die for; baklava cheesecake. Our waitress was tremendous, both of us connected well with her. I'm looking forward to our next visit.

Upset when presented a bill with an added surcharge. We are too long past the pandemic for that BS! Waiter was very pleasant but inattentive. I think he may have been too husy in another room. Food and drinks were very good

The food was excellent. The ambience lovely. But the best thing about Clyde's Tower Oaks was Malakai - our server. He was attentive, funny, knowledgeable, focused, and added so much to the experience for us. We shall definitely visit again and be sure to ask to sit in Malakai's section.

I did not like my salad. It was dry and not too tasty. I get a better salad at chic fil a. Maybe I can try another item next time. I loved the location, deco and the noise level was perfect for our work meeting that allowed us to talk

The food, service, and decor were superb. The noise from the other patrons conversations at times was so loud that we could not hear each other. This was in the Polo Room other rooms may not have this issue.
We just moved to the DMV (just learned what this means - lol), and we were looking for a quality restaurant to have our first night dining out in the area. Wow - this place blew us away for ambiance, service and most importantly, fantastic food!!! I highly recommend Tower Lodge for couples, families and parties. This place is a definite gem for us in the neighborhood now. We plan to go back soon when fresh lobster is added to the menu - supposedly starting a week from today's review. ;-)

Kelly our server was outstanding, perhaps the best server we have had at Tower Oaks in years. The oysters at Tower Oaks are always excellent; those from Prince Edward Island are standouts. Overall we thought the food (burger, steak salad, bread, gazpacho) was significantly improved from our recent visits. Thumbs up, especially to Kelly and the chef.

Seated promptly when our entire party arrived. Wait staff was observant to our table's needs without being overly attentive. Apps and entrees were excellent. One of my favorite restaurants.

Clydes Tower Oaks crab cakes are the absolute best. Allllllll Lump meat. There's just enough filler to keep the crab cakes together. WONDERFUL. The veggies are also fresh and so delicious.

Clydes used to be one of our favorite restaurants: good environment, good food, good service and reasonable price. The quality of food and service seem not quite close in recent 2-3 years. The dinner last night shows some of the trend too.
