Their hunting lodge motif might be a bit kitschy, but the food and service are great. I highly recommend both the ribeye and the trout. Their calamari appetizer is excellent. For dessert, you can’t go wrong with either the chocolate cake or the bread pudding. And its good value for money as well; we spent $354 for a 5-person meal, before tipping. I’d call it a solid 4-star meal.

Stopped in for a nice lunch. James was our server and did a great job. Efficient and friendly. Great atmosphere -you feel ticked away from everything else!

The waitress, Erika was great. Sat on the porch. Nice but a little dark and dreary. The food was terrible. Ordered parmesan trout. Didn't realize it would be deep fried. They allowed me to swap it for broiled. It was bland. My friend got lobster roll. We split our entrees. The lobster was chewy and watery (like it had been frozen). The broccolini was extremely undercooked. I couldn't even stab the stalk with my fork. My water glass was chipped. The cinnamon coffee cake (the table 'bread' for the brunch period) was so dry we couldn't eat it. It looked like and tasted like those packaged coffee cake squares that we ate growing up. Service was great. Erika was great and we got seated immediately. But, I probably will not return to Clyde's given the poor food quality and prices.

We arrived with a reservation at 6pm. The restaurant wasn't yet crowded so its being busy doesn't explain the following some of which I attribute to poor communication among staff and poor waiter training: I ordered a glass of wine with my dinner. Halfway through dinner it hadn't arrived so I summoned a waiter and reminded them of the wine. Five minutes later someone arrived with it; I sent it back. My wife ordered smothered onions on her hamberger. It came without them. Again we asked for them and returned them when they arrived when my wife was nearly done with dinner. She asked for sweet potato fries instead of the standard fries; they don't have them. First restaurant we've been to in several years that doesn't. I requested a rare burger but it was medium rare. The waiter delivered our friends' dinners to the wrong person. Finally, all the booths have a large faux tree branch at the isle end which maked entering and leaving a challenge. Cute but not thoughtful. Besides the interesting wall hangings I can't say anything positive about the dining experience. We won't return.

Extremely freindly customers service which is not something you normally see in maryland. Went back lastnight and got the same great service. Impressed!

Lovely big lodge with rustic decor and several rooms. Great food consistently with interesting flavors/ingredients. Gluten free is possible. Prices range from mid to higher range. Nice variety. Daily cupcake special a reasonable dessert. Parking can get tricky. Good for special occasions.

Went to this restaurant because we had an appointment at Home Depot design center at 5 and we wanted something nearby. What an exceptional surprise. Waiter Iveth had perfect timing. Appetizer, dinners, and dessert could not have been better. Had trout and shrimp linguine.

While staying in Bethesda, we went to the Twin Oaks Lodage. Meals were great. The Mussels app was great. Baked cod in lemon buyer was very good. Wife's 8 oz steak a d fries was also very good. The restaurant is in a quiet scenic area and the atmosphere inside is very nice and unique, classy and a bit old school. Would go back for sure

Good place for business networking. Appetizers were good (calamari, crab dip, wings). Private areas great to gatherings

This was a first meet-up with new friends. We got together at this Clyde’s location that is decked out in the style of an Adirondack Lodge. Quiet, soothing ambiance. The usual Clyde’s consistency: the food isn’t gourmet, but we’ve never ordered anything in the last 40+ years that we didn’t like a lot…and I love their hamburgers (something I only order once a year or so). The other three at the table all ordered a hue so rancheros dish that they seemed to love. Our energetic waiter was efficient, helpful and enthusiastic.

If you are looking for a specialty, coffee place, or cool location, or even the atmosphere look elsewhere. This is just a regular run-of-the-mill office Cafe. I'm sure they're very nice.

Had lunch with my wife and her friend. I had a Rubin. My wife had a turkey sandwich. Our friend had Tacos. All dishes were delicious!. The service is great but the atmosphere is stunning!

The food was very disappointing. The crab cake was passable but I had a few pieces of shell in mine. The flavor was just ok. It was served on a bed of Chesapeake corn which used to be fresh corn, tomatoes and fresh basil. Today this dish had an overpowering garlic flavor and was creamed. It was awful ! The last time I had a crab cake it was also served with a vegetable dish that had the overpowering garlic flavor. The tiny amount of roasted potatoes were greasy. Dessert was also subpar. Peach Melba parfait was topped with at too much heavy whipped cream and the ice cream below was melted. Peaches were soggy and not pealed. Service was slow and nothing special. I have been coming here since they opened. I see no reason to return.

Wait staff were exceptional. Ambiance beautiful. Food average for the price. Portions are small and sides minimal. Ordered salmon which was delicious but it was served on a small mound of grits and a handful of peas. We also ordered mussels (delicious) as an appetizer as well as spinach dip (ridiculously small portion for the price).

I have no idea why they would think the linguine and clams was even tasty. It had the worst taste and ruined my day. I took one bite and shoved it to the side. It was worse than terrible. And so of course the manager said he take it off the bill and asked me if I could get something else, but the other people were already done eating. So I only had appetizer and was looking forward to a good meal. The manager should’ve rather complemented me with something else like a desert, or another appetizer something quick. Left very disappointed. It’s not often my daughter and grandson come to visit and I just moved to Rockville so we won’t be going there again.
