Delicious food. We just had our dinner delivered to the pool. Lasagna, Broccoli, Caesar Salad. The family raved about it and had 3+ servings, kids included.
Great spot for sandwiches, frozen dishes, and niche Italian groceries
My new favorite lunch spot. They have an assortment of $10 sandwiches, I've had the porchetta, meatball, and pesto chicken so far. All were excellent, super fresh and flavorful. The people inside are also very kind. This place is a real gem. Food is also ready super fast.
I have only shopped in the little front market, I have yet to try anything hot from here - so that’s a to do.
The frozen vegetable lasagna is so so good, I crave it regularly and try to keep one in my freezer for official lasagna emergencies. Nonna would approve.
I’m also very thankful they stock some digestives from Italy which I love to take home and have with espresso.
Hours are 11am-3pm on Wednesday ?That's cool, how about you update it so people don't waste their time driving here. Will change the stars when the hours are fixed.
Cold cut, w hot pepper. Best I've ever had.
All great
Always tasty and fresh. Perfect sandwiches!

Really good pasta, really affordable prices. Rose sauce is delicious!
Tucked away in Rockville/ North Bethesda. I went to take some donations to Good Will and stumbled upon this gem. The spot is small but the food is excellent! Vignola has a wide selection of made-to-order food and take-and-bake. They also have a fun selection of snacks and beverages. I ordered the porchetta sandwich. It was big enough to have two meals. The porchetta was not what I’m traditionally used to. Rather than thick round slices, the meat was shredded. It was so moist and flavorful. I also bought cannoli that my son and I split. Cannolis are traditional ricotta filling. Delicious and not too sweet. Give this place a try!
Delicious, comforting, South-Italian food. Fair prices and generous portions. Outstanding customer service!
I have tried almost everything from their menu, my favorites are the free form lasagna, the pasta with pesto, and the turkey and cranberry sandwich. This is my go-to when I’m not in the mood for cooking or when I have guests at home.
The only thing that I don’t like is their odd hours of operation but other than that this is a hidden gem where I love to go! 100% recommended.
I don’t have pictures because since everything is to go, the pictures won’t make the food justice!
I found this place on Google “Latest in the area” feature and it is a real find. Prices are very reasonable and the food is of exceptional quality and the taste is amazing. We bought Spinach Cannelloni and Vegetable Lasagna, a pound of sausage and a pound of meatballs. I wanted some porcetta but they don’t sell it by the pound, it’s only in a sandwich. I had him sell me the meat only from the sandwich. It was heavenly. Cannelloni and Lasagna are made with silky fresh pasta sheets. We left with over 10 pounds of delicious food and with tax it was under $60. You can’t beat that deal. The owner is a super nice and accommodating guy. While we were there people were constantly coming and going. Almost everything we bought was in a freezer case. They have picnic tables outside to eat the sandwiches. They even bake their own bread rolls.
I stumbled on this place by accident and it didn’t disappoint! Good bread is the key to every sandwich and they bake their’s fresh. Already off to a great start with a solid foundation. Round 1 was the porchetta sandwich. Good porchetta takes hours to make and is one of those foods that are easy to mess up and a skill to get right. I had my first bite of this sandwich and all I could do was close my eyes, smile, and eat. The flavor of the porchetta was amazing and the seasoned broccoli rabe took it to the next level. I was going to leave half for dinner later but that didn’t happen. No regrets… I’d gladly go back and get a second one for dinner. Round 2 was the cold cut sandwich and it’s one of the best I’ve had. Simple and easy, good ingredients, and the green sauce brings it together perfectly. Not too oily or greasy which is a plus because you can eat your sandwich without needing a stack of napkins. If you haven’t tried Vignola you need to. If you have I’m sure you’re going back just like I plan to.
