One of my favorite home style places. Very warm mom and pop feeling service every time, and they've updated their menu to include pictures and more English. Have been coming for a few years now.

Very delicious and home cooked jjajangmyeon that was very clean and not greasy tasting with great prices. Lots of fresh sides and lots of ingredients in the jjajangmyeon. Loved the cozy and authentic feeling of restaurant and very comfortable dining experience. The owners are hardworking and kind and the service was very good even though the restaurant seemed to be understaffed when I went. Very authentic. Thanks for the good meal on a rainy day.

Best jajangmyeon and champon in Maryland! We also tried and love the yukgaejang and tangsuyuk. Tangsuyuk is super crispy and the sauce is delicious.

I wish they offered an online ordering option or did DoorDash, but I placed my order by calling in over the phone for a pickup. They were very kind and helpful, and the inside of the restaurant is very clean and well-kept. There's a doorway where you can peep the food being made. With a phone order, they had my food ready a few minutes after I came in (they wanted to make the noodles as fresh as possible rather than let them sit), and I paid inside rather than over the phone. The portions were generous and very well packed! I got the jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles) and kan poong gi (sweet and spicy chicken) both as main entrees, and was able to have 2 meals from the both of them for 4 full meals total. It's well worth the price! They included a free cup of pickled radish and chopped white onions for the sides, and gave heaping portions of rice to go with the kang poong gi. It's a lovely Korean restaurant that I will absolutely frequent!

I was looking for jjampong and the only place available near me that I haven't tried yet (the other places near me that I've tried were not that good) was this place and Hwa Gae Jang Tuh (HGJT). I went to both in short duration of time. This place is good value for money(性价比更高)and good authentic flavor if you're just craving for the spicy seadood taste. In contrast, Hwa Gae Jang Tuh (HGJT) is more expensive but the ingredients used seem higher quality and bigger potion. Both of these places have good jjampong and tangsuyuk

The food is good. But, not best. I wish the restaurant provides some sides somewhere so customers can get some sides themselves if needed.

This has been our go to Korean place lately. Their steamed Mandu is my favorite comfort food! The filling is yummy and the dough is a little chewy and not super thin. Also pictured is yang jang pi. It's a great balance of veggies and meat.

This is a wonderful small-business, offering accessible Korean food options while also providing a great selection of lesser known authentic delicious dishes to try!Their Ja Jang Myeon (black bean sauce and noodles) is what I feel they are known for in the area. They also have KBBQ items like various bulgogi, and the go-to bibimbap. Their seafood pancake is also so generous and authentic. I also love their small pickled items they bring out free of charge to help augment the dishes and cleanse your palette. So glad my friends took me to this place a while back. I mean to go more often!

I pass by this place all the time on E Gude and finally decided to stop by because I had 0 desire to drive down to Annandale for my usual black bean noodle spot. There aren't a lot of black bean noodle places in MoCo and so I had to see if this is good! If you can't find parking at the front which fronts E Gude there's additional parking to the side and at the rear of building. The kimchi here is definitely not as fermented as other places but still passable. I got the tangsuyook (sweet deep fried pork ) and the breading was perfect although I found the sauce to be a little too sweet and the portion wasn't on par with other places. The beef fried rice lacked any salt BUT the black bean sauce accompanied it and helped make up for it. Finally, the black bean noodles with extra noodles (also can serve 2 people or one hungry individual) were delicious and I recommend coming here if you're craving the noodles and don't want to drive out to VA. It absolutely hits the spot if you have a craving but maybe not if you don't. In terms of service, I get why reviewers have issues with it; there is literally only one waitress. Secondly, all of the plates had this weird sticky feeling to it which may deter some. I think the coating on the plates just coming off but who knows! The prices here are also unbeatable for what you get. For three dishes my total amounted to be about $42 and this fed 2 people with additional leftovers for one more meal. Overall, it's a good place to visit if you want go try Chinese-Korean dishes in MoCo.

I used to be such a big fan of this place. But this last time I went I left feeling strange. In the past I have always given a nice tip, but this time I simply didn’t give one because I didn’t feel the service was up to par like it was always. The waitress came running out after me as I was going to my car. I was so confused and I guess she wanted me to leave a tip. I felt obligated, so I gave her a tip, but it was weird because she had never done that before. It kinda killed the vibe of the place. Perhaps I’ll go back but def not anytime soon.

WOW! Best korean-chinese food in Maryland. I've been to Ti-an, Hanjoong kwan, and Daraewon, but my favorite jjajang myeon (black bean noodle) place so far. Portions are generous too which I love. Their jjam pong (spicy noodle) was good, personally preferred the black bean noodle though :)Their fried pork (탕수육) was also good - though portion size was slightly smaller and could have more meat. However it was very crispy and well-fried!Service was very quick, servers were nice.Ambiance wise, it's older, smaller, and not the nicest looking spot - but I only value food quality when I go to Korean-Chinese spots! Will definitely be coming back here!
