West Wing Cafe & Bakery

The sandwiches are okay but nothing to write home about. I find the ratio of bread to filling too high and they are not particularly flavorful but not terrible either. I've never had any of the pastries because I think they all look somewhat artificial and like they've been sitting out for a while. The cafe options are fine but they have limited milk selection (only skim and 2 percent). Some times I go there for lunch to mix things up but I generally prefer Freshii next door.

Well, don't I feel dum-b? I work near the Rio Soul Sucking Shopping Plex and for years I've been wishing there was a little deli near by. NOT a Subway or a PotBelly. A REAL deli. The kind of place where you can get a sandwich, or maybe some cookies, or candy, or perhaps some juice. Did I mention the candy? This place is confusing as all get out when you walk in the door, but worth it to push through and focus on what you want. Soups - this is all I've really had in recent memory but they are always wonderful. I've been meaning to inquire as to if they are made from scratch - I'm thinking they are. Just finished the Chicken Enchilada and am very happy.
