You NEED to try the luosifen, I got the pork and mushroom luosifen and it was the best soup I have ever had in my entire life. Very rich and flavorful, with a layered and nuanced flavor palate. HIGHLY recommend.

First time trying the Beef Luosifen at Yanzi Noodle House and it was a revelation! That savory, sour, and deeply aromatic broth is an absolute winner—especially if you love the tangy profiles of Filipino Sinigang or Thai Tom Yum. An incredible and comforting bowl. We can't wait to come back and get our fix while soup season is at its peak

Happened to find this restaurant while walking around after dropping off my vehicle for service. I quickly looked it up online, and as soon as I saw spicy noodle soup, made the choice to stop here. So glad to find a new-to-me Chinese noodle soup. I got the roast pork Luosifen, extra spicy. So good!!!! Worth a visit - no, worth many visits!

Beef noodle soup is the best I've had. I used to go to the one in Fair Oaks mall but they closed down. Dumblings and Chow Foon are one of the best I've had.
Parking and getting to it is a bit tricky but if you have patience it's worth it.
Price is about right. Not pricey and not expensive.
Food seems to be fresh and they will accommodate if you have allergies. Definitely would come back and order the dumplings, beef noodle soup and beef chow foon.

Waited 15 minutes for staff to appear so I could pay for my food. I saw three people in the kitchen through the kitchen window so I know people heard and saw me. Nobody bothered to come out or even relay information to other staff members. Rang the bell 6 times and after that I stopped because I got embarrassed for making the other customers feel uncomfortable. I did not even come at a busy time. I can't explain how the service was so poor.

Luosifen was fine. I feel like they only gave me four pieces of thin meat though.

My wife and I happened to stop in for take out but ended up sitting down and enjoying a meal here. The owner sat us and explained to us the menu along with some history about the restaurant. We ordered the Mushroom Luosifen, beef burrito and popcorn chicken. The soup was rich and spicy, and cleared up our sinuses from the fall weather. We shared a large portion which easily fed both of us. The beef burrito was like a scallion pancake with tender beef inside, and the popcorn chicken was fresh and crispy. The table side vinegar and spice added a lot of flavor to our meal and made everything even better. I would highly recommend trying their Luosifen Noodle Soup for something different than a usual Chinese noodle. We will definitely be coming back!

I'm a Chinese and very picky on food. This restaurant has real Chinese style, not like most asian restaurants that have been westernlized. I even can get soybean milk (豆浆)and Youtiao(油条). Very fresh cooked.

I wanted to share some feedback about my visit to Yanzi Noodle House on October 19th. I arrived with a few friends around opening time (11 a.m.) for an early lunch before work. We were among the first customers, but our meal took over an hour and a half, and the dishes came out very slowly and inconsistently — roughly at 11:10, 11:40, 12:00, and 12:30. Unfortunately, the final dish, the Beef with Soft Tofu, still hadn’t arrived by the time I had to leave at 12:45.

The food that did come out was good, but the wait time and uneven pacing made it difficult to enjoy the experience. I just wanted to bring this to your attention in case there were issues in the kitchen that day. I’d also appreciate if you could check whether the last dish was ever prepared, since I didn’t receive it.

Thank you for your time — I hope things run more smoothly in the future, as I’d like to return when service improves.

We ordered roast pork luosifen, pork and cucumber with garlic sauce, and beef rice noodle soup. The luosifen and pork with garlic sauce are must-haves! Easily the best luosifen and rice noodle soup I've ever had. The meat and noodles were perfectly cooked, and the soups were spiced exactly right.

Thank you!!

Hands down our favorite place in Fairfax! From the food, service and atmosphere… this place is everything we look for in a cozy restaurant. The waitress and cook went above and beyond to create something my picky daughter would eat and she loved it! I ordered the beef/rice noodle pho- incredible! You can add your own spice level which was great! The cucumber salad was so fresh! We ordered 3 orders of it! We highly recommend this spot and will be back again!
