Yasaman Bakery Corp on Rockville Pike is truly a standout! Not only do they serve some of the finest Persian pastries and bread in the area, but their service is also top-notch. The staff goes above and beyond to make every visit special — they are always warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about their products. I’ve been going here since the early 90s and although their desserts are amazing and they have always been nice to me, they have been outrageously rude to my husband. I don’t know if it’s because of the color of his skin or if they do not like mixed couples, but we have dealt with a few times of utter rudeness and mistreatment when we go together. If I’m really craving their sweets, I’ll go by myself now but I try not to go that much anymore.
