I went out for a girls night on a Saturday here, also want to mention it was my first time.
They had an outdoor concert (1979) playing from 6:30-9:30. Beautiful sunset.Tickets were cheap online, $14 but it was actually cheaper at the door... $12.50. Easy and fast entry no wait. They just scan your ticket and you go through security. Parking was easy and organized as well. One thing that's cool about this winery is they allow you to bring your own food. So we brought an entire charcuterie board, which made it more festive. I would suggest getting there early if it's a concert night as seating is limited. So bring a blanket or chairs for the lawn. This winery is a bit for boujee *as the young kids say* lol. Very clean restrooms too. Definitely will be back.

Fantastic venue for an atmosphere of chillness with one the best wines that Maryland has to offer.

A great winery and vineyard, with some very nice wines. The reds were great, and some good port, too. They are in a beautiful setting with wonderful views. Cheese, olives, and meats are available, and crackers and fresh baked bread. The pizza was great as well. Lots of indoor and covered outdoor seating.

Amazing sweet vines. They do it BIG

As its name suggests, a very large establishment where you can get a tasting or flight - each for 20$. We got the reds and they were big and full bodied for this part of the country. They also had a food truck and cheese and crackers to snack on. When we were there they had live music including a number of 90s grunge and rock being played by a one man band and his acoustic guitar.

Great find! Arrived early, but was greeted warmly by manager. Wine servers were very friendly and knowledgeable. The grounds are impeccable. Really glad we found this place!

Went to a retirement party for my sister there. We were on one of the tents outside. Beautiful location. The staff was great. Pretty good wine too.

Here are my key impressions that prompted us to return after a couple of years (we intentionally went on a Sat. that did not have big name bands playing)

Great views (go early, before noon to get a table in the covered area).

The place is amazing clean inside and outside

Friendly staff (Dawn and Ellen were incredible!). The family owned vibe makes for a really good ambience.

The wines we had were great! ( A bottle of Petit Verdot which had a nice zing (my words since I am not a wine expert!) and a bottle of the Cabernet Franc which I originally came to try but ended up selecting the Petit Verdot first ......and yes we did not drink both bottles but took them home - which you can do).

The place was full but not crowded.....nice mix of families and singles groups- all having a nice time but no raucous behavior which I appreciated.

A suggestion: Take some nice bread (we just brought along a baguette, some goat cheese and some smoked gouda, really good vine ripened tomatoes, some parsley and roasted red peppers .....all so nicely complemented the reds we bought). I would not settle for pizza which a number of people bought, but that's just my opinion. I did walk over to the food truck to pick up a serving of smoked sirloin tips).

We had just come back from Bordeaux and the wine regions there but none of them (yes even St. Emillon! or some of the Chateaus in the Medoc) compare to our experience at Big Cork!!! No crowds of hot sweaty tourists, no wineries pushing overpriced wines which are wasted on unsophisticated palates like ours.......

Do try Big Cork Vineyars if you want a very pleasant experience. (I also like this one better that a couple of vineyards in NVA. )

Big Cork hosted a Jimmy Buffett tribute band today. The event was well managed and the attendees sang along to every song. Parrotheads were well represented. Missing you Jimmy 😢

Big Cork Vineyards. What a beautiful place with beautiful views of the landscape and countryside. Wonderful venue, especially for a car show on a beautiful day. I definitely hope they have another one one next year, so I can bring my wife so she can enjoy some wine.

My wife and I just got married at Big Cork about a month ago, and it was as close to perfect as you could get! Can't say enough at how impressed we were with what Big Cork offered. We had 150 guests, and with the weather in mid-September, our guests got the chance to take all of the property in, from arrival at 5:30, through Sunset, and capping off the night at 11.

Meagan was wonderful to work with, very polite and approachable when we had questions throughout our planning process. She was even able to make a few last minute changes to our table layout a couple days before. Her team was very efficient in the setup and breakdown of the tables and chairs for ceremony and reception, in a short amount of time!

Big Cork offers their wedding guests the Big House, which is a 5 bedroom home on the property. We were able to use this for our rehearsal dinner, first look, and after-party. This was a game changer! We would recommend anyone to have Big Cork host their wedding, we will certainly be back on weekends to enjoy their wine and take the views in. 10/10.
