Chesapeake Bounty is a true treasure in Calvert county Md with the freshest selection of seafood and local meats, fruits and vegetables. Best selection of clams I have ever seen. Rarely see a single clam not open out of every 50 we buy. We steamed ours in garlic, shallots and Sake. So amazing!! Fresh crabs from super Jumbo to Number 2 always available. Great job Chesapeake Bounty!!!

Memorial weekend we finally had the stars line up and we all could make it to Chesapeake Bounty. We were not disappointed. Beautiful drive and no traffic. The parking lot was busy but we easily found someone leaving and inherited their spot. There was a sign saying Native Plants and that was our first stop with a handy wagon. They have beautiful plants and we gave three a new home. Next sausage and my eyes lit up when I saw some Blood Sausage. I have not had that for years - 2 packs in the cart. I decided to be lazy and get a pint of fresh shucked oysters. I enjoyed a couple raw this morning and then threw some more in a pan with olive oil and eggs and had poached eggs and oysters on the Bounty's wonder Sour Dough bread. That bread is so good. Well worth the trip and then we enjoyed a picnic lunch then some fossil hunting at near by Flag Ponds State park. We will be back! Thanks CB!

Great place to get FRESH LOCALLY- SOURCED foods. They have some of the Best Live crabs at AMAZING prices! Why, stop there?? They also offer fresh vegetables, fruits, jams, seasonal plants, and much more. Staff is always friendly and helpful! Just an Amazing place, and they even accept EBT for food items! A must-go.
