I am from Maryland. Grew up on the Eastern Shore & moved away but I try to come back once a year. I really, really was looking forward to dinner here. We were celebrating a new marriage and I wanted to have a nice local dinner.
The apps were delish including the crab pretzel & crab dip. The cream of crab was good but a bit under seasoned.
I got the Chesapeake crab; crab imperial on chicken, but again a little under seasoned. In my party, there was fried shrimp, which was 5 for $30, Surf & Turf for $60 and seafood stir fry for $35. The steak was completely over cooked with practically raw bacon. Tin the stir fry, the shrimp smelled & tasted like pure bleach. The rice & scallops under cooked & under seasoned. The steak we sent back & got a new one.
Overall, pretty disappointing although the service on the deck was wonderful.

Waitress had a terrible attitude from the moment we ordered. One of our party had to ask for ice 3 times before she brought a glass & slammed it down on the table. It’s a miracle that the glass didn’t break.
Food was not as represented in the menu - the scallops were listed as sea scallops; they were clearly bay scallops, even though the waitress argued otherwise. I found a scale in my first bite of rockfish.
Waitress said owner offered free desserts to the 3 who ordered scallops, but those members of our group declined. She then. Same back & said the owner was removing the charges for scallops from our checks. However, the owner did not visit our table & speak with us about our dining experience.
Needless to say, we won’t be returning to Chesapeake Landing for a meal.

we ordered the AYCE crabs last night; FABULOUS! The deck is a perfect spot too. They had tvs for college football, great service, sweet and meaty crabs and the manager couldn't have been any nicer. When we stay in Tilghman Island this is our GO TO spot!!

The Maine lobster tail was delicious,🦞
the cabcakes were scrumptious 🦀
The sides and kids chicken tenders were average. The waitress seemed in a rush every time she was at our table and didn't come by often. I'm not sure if it was because there were two very large tables with at least 15 people at each of those tables.
My husband said it was the best crab cakes he has had and we will be back.

Service was great. We were seated quickly and waited on. The food was underwheling. There was not an ounce of spice to be found. My husband asked where the soy sauce was for his meal. He ate most of his food with the redeaming quality being the vegetables. My fried shrimp platter was abscent of seasoning as well. The one thing, our food was HOT. Straight from the pot HOT. Steam wafting up with every bite. It was a pleasant way to wrap up our day in St. Michaels after a few hrs of fishing with Capt. Herman of Screaming Eagles.

Nothing special. Good local seafood dish selection. Food was good. Seafood was fresh. The space is not inviting and needs a very deep cleaning which makes me question the kitchen hygiene. Glad we went, likely will not return to dine in but will support the seafood market for fresh catch seafood to cook at home.
