Lovely ambience, great martinis, superb service from Jakkob. Lobster bisque was very good - maybe consider small chunks of lobster meat to elevate more; halibut was perfectly cooked and flavorful; white chocolate cheesecake also tremendous. Lovely time, thank you.
Food was not worth the value. Service was great. We did have a wobbly table that never got fixed for us which was a shame for our experience
Stars offers prime views of the miles river at st Michael's, a charming tributary of the Chesapeake bay. Food and drink follow suit. with the server Jakob an outstanding example of the high level of professional and conscientious service at the inn at Perry cabin. You remember it from wedding crashers and it is still well worth the visit. Excellent seafood and local produce with great finesse in plating and preparation.
The meal was exceptional, and we were lucky enough to have Thomas as our waiter again which adds a smile to the evening.
I didn't realize that Stars switched to a pr- fix menu, which is not my preference. My three course dinner was plated elegant and each course was delicious. My wife had the vegetarian menu and she also like her three courses but I have to say that the look of the main course was unappetizing—looked like blob of food on a plate.
The food and the service were outstanding. There was a large party that was noisy but they weren't loud. The heat was broken in the restaurant so it was a bit chilly. Overall a great night out
Unfortunately our experience for our babymoon was underwhelming especially this prix fixed dinner at Stars. As an iconic property I was expecting an exceptional experience but was left feeling confused. From the service experience to the food itself I was feeling confused what we were even doing there. The level of standard this property should be and holds was not reflected in this meal whatsoever.
Very good, just not memorable for the price. I think an a la carte menu would make more sense than a fixed price menu. The braised cabbage appetizer was terrific and the filet mignon was done as requested. Server very helpful and room is quiet.
My fiancé and I came to STARS for a dinner during our baby moon and we had a fantastic experience. Jacob made us feel welcome and was attentive to all our needs. He made note of one food item that might not be something my lovely pregnant wife-to-be would want to indulge in, and assured us the rest of the menu was safe for her to eat. I know their menu changes daily but wow, the milk bread was heavenly, and I have never had shrimp, halibut or octopus cooked as well as their kitchen did. I wish I took note of everyone’s name as they were all delightful and made our night so special, but I was distracted by how good the food was and my beautiful partner.

We want to give a special shout-out to Ms. Vicki, our wonderful server at Stars Restaurant at the Inn at Perry Cabin. She’s clearly a seasoned professional—full of warmth, personality, and genuine hospitality.
I was dining with my elderly father, who uses a wheelchair and had his service dog with him. Ms. Vicki was incredibly accommodating and made us feel right at home.
The setting was beautiful, and while this is definitely a “special occasion” kind of place ($$$$), the experience felt worth it—largely thanks to Ms. Vicki’s attentiveness and charm—along with breathtaking water view and delicious food. A memorable evening all around.

I have been to this restaurant many times over the last 7 years and it’s appalling how bad the food was this time around. $175 per person for dinner and each dish was bad, overcooked, dry and so damn overpriced. I remember spending 2022 New Year’s Eve and the food was amazing. They definitely need to step up the game as this price range, I have had better food through out the world and most of the restaurants in this price range were Michelin star level or at least executed exceptionally. If you are looking for good food in St.Michales go to Ruse instead.
