As one of the first employees of the Blue Crab under Brian and Hellen, I can say that the vibes are immaculate and you can feel their flair throughout the entire building. The coffee choice is the best on the Eastern Shore (over Rise Up) and they don’t try to be fancy with their menu. It’s fairly straightforward and everything is delicious (I’ve tasted it all). I may have moved away and be saddened by the couple stepping away but I know the folks at the bagery are just as passionate. I will continue to stop by whenever I can and support not only an amazing business but also the people in this community. I recommend you try it out whenever you’re in St. Michaels. It’s the perfect place to escape and relax for even just a moment. Thank you Brian and Hellen. I’m so grateful for your love and kindness to the St. Michaels community.

I had their iced Thai tea that was decent. Their chicken salad sandwich was a bit disappointing. It’s $14 and they barely put any chicken salad in it. There were two big slices of tomato and 2 big chunks of lettuce. There was about maybe 1 tablespoon of chicken salad on there. The bread was good. But $14 for just a sandwich and no sides like chips or even a choice of fruit is a bit steep. The lady there was pleasant enough.

Went for early morning coffee and breakfast. Really cool vibe.
So disappointed. Ordered a medium size coffee. The cup I received would be a small in most coffee shops. The coffee wasn't even warm. Realized this as I was walking out. Just took it home and reheated as the server was too distracted to get her attention. Better shops in town to purchase good hot coffee.

Coffee is good, rest is average. No athmosphere and everything comes in disposable format despite asking for a mug and no plastic. We had to queue for coffee, service was unfriendly, we had to go back and get our coffee and then got scolded for not clearing our table. Why pay extra for service if we do not get any?

We stayed in the apartment upstairs which was very nice and got us a 20 % discount in the cafe. Drinks were well crafted, food is freshly prepared while you watch. You can work at a table with Wifi in the rear of the shop or sit in the front. There are benches on the side outside and seating under a huge tree with tables around the back of the building. Nice

We stopped in for a quick coffee right before they were closing for the day. They had already disposed of the drip coffee about 20 minutes prior to closing. Ordered a Iced Mocha Latte - which was really good. There was not much of a size difference between the medium and large size. The place was empty, but I am sure it gets crowded! Plenty of seating within the shop. They also have food, which we did not order.

Something isnt right about this place...It looks good but the cappuccino I got here gave me stomach cramp like food poisoning...Not sure what kind of milk was used but it tasted like it had weird oil in the milk ..I assumed whole milk was used because I wasnt asked but after drinking the cup I wondered what he used that caused my stomach cramping...
