Last Sunday, they had no bagels when they opened. This Sunday, it’s a 30 minute wait to get a bagel. No staff even said hello when we walked in this morning. It took 5 minutes for a staff to acknowledge us. The Bagery ruined The Blue Crab. It was our Sunday morning go to and we loved it. We will not go back anymore.

I went to the Blue Crab with some friends on the Fourth of July for a quick brunch. The place was pretty crowded with younger people/vacationers and the food was pretty good.
I probably should have ordered something different, but I got the Chicken Caesar wrap. Now, I love a good CCW and have high standards. This one was nothing outstanding. I did try some of my friend’s home fries, and they were much better.
If you’re in the area, this is definitely one of the go-to spots for breakfast. Check it out!

As one of the first employees of the Blue Crab under Brian and Hellen, I can say that the vibes are immaculate and you can feel their flair throughout the entire building. The coffee choice is the best on the Eastern Shore (over Rise Up) and they don’t try to be fancy with their menu. It’s fairly straightforward and everything is delicious (I’ve tasted it all). I may have moved away and be saddened by the couple stepping away but I know the folks at the bagery are just as passionate. I will continue to stop by whenever I can and support not only an amazing business but also the people in this community. I recommend you try it out whenever you’re in St. Michaels. It’s the perfect place to escape and relax for even just a moment. Thank you Brian and Hellen. I’m so grateful for your love and kindness to the St. Michaels community.
The Blue Crab is the best coffee shop that I found in St. Michaels. They are the only coffee shop in town with a cortado on the menu, which usually indicates a place that understands espresso, and their cortado was excellent. It also has comfortable seating. Their snack selection is quite limited, but my choc chip cookie was good.

This place is a gem. The coffee is fantastic and the food is yummy. We had a delicious chorizo tortilla and the omelette! Both excellent. We had two cappuccinos with their homemade biscotti! The barista and chef were incredible
