Fratelli's Italian Restaurant

I have had dinner at Fratelli's on multiple occasions and today's meal was very Disappointing the worst spaghetti i have ever had. I have noticed the coast to eat a Fratelli's is constantly increase. I am done with that Restaurant. No i did not eat the spaghetti. I sent it back after one bite.

Staff pay attention to details. Very friendly. Nice atmosphere and good food as well.

I used to go to the original location of Fratelli's many years ago, closer to Fruitland, when my parents first moved to Salisbury back in 1998, and we continued going to the "new" location once you moved, right until my parents moved back to NY when they became elderly. My parents are gone a few years now, but I visited twice by myself recently, and the food and memories are still as good as ever. The salad, breadsticks, and some of the entrees remain the same even after 25+ years- and that is a good thing! One of my old favorites is the crab cakes topped with provolone cheese. I also tried a special of salmon topped with a crabcake in a lemon butter sauce and I hope you add that to the menu on a regular basis- it was delectable! The memories here are a huge part of the experience for me, personally, and I was delighted that even the music remains the same- the old Italian songs... Please don't ever change TOO much! The quality and cost was as good as ever, and the service was wonderful. The portions are HUGE- I brought back a good amount of salad, several breadsticks, and most of my entree to enjoy over the next few days at my hotel in Ocean City. (Yes, Fratelli's is worth the drive, even from OC!) I only took off one star for "atmosphere" because of my personal nostalgic feel for the cozier old location, with the iconic round windows, warm fireplace and the pasta making machine my boys liked looking at when they were little.

I had the penne with vodka sauce which was rich in flavors and wonderful and my mom had spaghetti with sausage. My mom said the noodles were homemade and wonderful. I also took home a piece of Smith island oreo cookies and cream cake....wow was that ever delicious! We also had great service and the atmosphere there is great! Quiet and relaxing.

High-quality Italian food. Excellent service and we had a party of 10. Yummy salad and breadsticks!

It’s a nice place. Some may say it’s nice for an intimate evening. It was very busy. Our server was new but very friendly and super efficient. I had the alfredo and my sister had appetizers. Very good. Delicious desserts. I felt a bit crowded but it was a busy night and they are very popular.

Kid-friendliness: Personally I feel that the setting is more adult oriented. I imagine people dine there for anniversaries and maybe romantic occasions.

This must be the least business-oriented people I have ever met in my (long) life!
I asked if it was possible to add and pay for an extra escalope to the spaghetti escalope dish I was ordering (along with 2 other full course meals with sides and appetizers) and was told no, I had to purchase a full extra dish with spaghetti!! I have never seen such an unprofessional and non-business like attitude in my life! This place thinks it is something so special that people just have to accept what they say. The food is ok at best. I lived in Italy for many years and can tell you there is nothing that remotely tastes like good original italian cuisine in there whatsoever. Some dishes are italian inspired but are far from the real deal. Also, italian restaurants do not serve crab cakes so their claim to fame has nothing to do with Italian cuisine... All in all, a very disappointing experience and unfriendly/unaccommodating people. Come back down to Earth people... You are not that special...
How disappointing... Luckily a real italian reataurant is now open in Salisbury for an authentic Italian food experience.

The crab cakes were amazing and the service was outstanding. Alicia provided the a fantastic dining experience and made a fantastic oil dip for the bread. My wife and will definitely be back. Absolutely worth the drive to Salisbury.
