I was on a work trip & ate here for dinner since it was walking distance from my hotel. And I like Japanese food. I was pleasantly surprised at how good this place was.

The inside of the restaurant is quite nice, but you'd never know from how plain it looks on the exterior.

I ordered a nigiri sushi ? appetizer platter. For my entree, I got the hibachi NY strip steak. And for dessert, I got the fried banana.

Portions were generous. The food was tasty, seasoned well, & cooked just right. The sushi was fresh. I was so full & still had sizeable leftovers.

My server was friendly, & my food came out very fast. Prices were reasonable. This was a much better sushi restaurant than another one I tried in Crystal City Arlington, VA. Who knew that the good sushi is in small town Salisbury, MD rather than a bigger city like Arlington?

Highly recommend!

Visiting Salisbury to see family. This restaurant had very hight reviews and was close to home so it was a natural to check it out. Granted, we're a bit spoiled by all of the excellent places up in Wilmington, but wanted to see if the places in Salisbury were up to snuff.

Truth be told, the place has some ambiance. Even though it's stuck in a strip mall with trees in front of it, seemed very promising. They as for a reservation for a table and when we arrived, was seated immediately. The decor was also very pleasant. The rest of our party arrived shortly after we did and by now we were ready it order

All of us ordered bento boxes, 1 chicken, 1 shrimp and 2 steak. The miso soup was amazing and left a promise that the rest of us meal would be equally good. That would be a no. The wife and I have had sushi from all over and this was the absolute grossest we have ever had. One piece we always try is spider roll (with softshell crab cutup) and this one was disgusting. The steak bentos were chewey, the shrimp looked very odd and inedible and my chicken was was old and stringy. It ended up going into a tissue. I really don't understand these positive reviews.

The only plus here was the waitress. Forgot her name, but she had blonde hair and was extremely excellent.

This dinner was a complete waste of the $122 for 4 people altogether and most of it went to the trash. You can do better. Will absolutely not recommend.

Extremely friendly staff. Best Sushi of anywhere we've been!!! Great Adult Beverages too. Loved our experience tonight

Vegetarian options: They had a wide variety of vegetarian sushi! I enjoyed the sweet potato roll tonight and can't wait to try some of the others!!!

Dietary restrictions: I'm allergic to crab and still had a wide variety to choose from. The waiter was awesome at assisting to ensure I got something I was able to enjoy without worrying!!

Sophia, the owner greeted me with such friendliness. I got there as they were about to close and she still made my food for me!

I ordered two rolls they were both outstanding! New Orleans was my favorite!

So happy to have a good sushi place right next to my hotel! @HamptonInnsuites

Don’t let the exterior fool you. This place is a hidden sushi gem in Salisbury. Excellent service and the sushi was out of this world. Try the Salisbury roll. Phenomenal. Will definitely come back if ever in Salisbury again.

Great Sushi and traditional Japanese fare.

Glad to have a sushi place locally but this is like the Applebee’s of sushi. Nothing is exactly bad, but nothing is really good either. The atmosphere was non-existent outside of the well decorated entryway - walls were bland and small tables felt like I was at a diner. We had 6 rolls for the table and they were pretty bland tasting and not exactly aesthetically well done. I’d rather take the trip out to Rehoboth for a candle lit sushi dinner with flavor instead of a close-by location.
