I was in Salisbury for a 3-week work trip and we were trying to look for some decent food around our hotel, we ended up coming here 2 to 3 times a week! The food was consistently fresh and delicious every single visit. We got to try several items, and their special rolls and nigiri were my favorites. The service was excellent too, friendly, attentive, and quick. The restaurant during dinner can get busy, but the turn over isn't too bad either. If I ever come back to the area, this will definitely be my go-to spot for sushi!

Food was very good until recent ownership change. The previous owners would never serve rolls with soggy, chewy seaweed and rubbery cold eel. The roll was obviously premade and had been sitting. Soybeans were cold and not cooked well. Husband bowl wasn’t great, either. In all our MANY, MANY years of frequenting this establishment, I’ve never been served a poor meal until this ownership change. Ikebana has always been our favorite place for sushi so to say we’re disappointed is an understatement. I hope the food improves and the new owners figure out you can’t serve subpar food and expect loyal customers to stay.

I was in the area for work and decided to stop by. I got miso soup and the starter salad which were delicious. For the entree I got the spicy combo roll and it was some of the best sushi I've had in a long time! I hope to stop by again some day.

My husband and I have been coming to this sweet cozy restaurant for 20 years. I have posted in the past but today I want to add in the 20 years we have NEVER EVER been disappointed. Please if you have not tried Ikebana before now is the time. It’s cozy, quiet with soft music and food is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!! It has and will always be our #1 restaurant in Salisbury, Md. Give it a try. You won’t be disappointed!!!

I have been coming here for many years and I mainly get sushi which is always great and every once in a while I will get an appetizer either Gyoza, which is dumplings with pork in the middle or edamame. I’ve also gotten hibachi shrimp and that comes with miso soup and a small salad, this is a great place if you’re going on a date or having a date night with your wife or if you’re with a group of your friends.
