When I came in one would have thought I had 5 heads. The energy was very obvious that my black skin was not welcomed…The lady that rang me out offered to assist if I came back the next day, I’m not sure if she could sense that I felt uncomfortable or if it was just her nature but it’s worth noting that she tried to help. I decided to not go back, overall first impressions are lasting ones, I won’t spend money where my presence isn’t welcome

My daughter’s usual pre lesson ice cream shop was closed today. We decided to take a walk downtown and we happened to see the owner of Sugar Rush outside. Even though the store was closed, she still got my daughter hooked up before class. Thanks!

We ordered a custom 2 tier cake and 4 dozen cupcakes for a baby shower. Everything was beautifully crafted and even more importantly, DELICIOUS!! Flavors ordered were lemon crunch and black bottom cupcakes and the cake had a confetti tier and a red velvet tier. Seriously , delicious!! Theresa is so easy to work with. We ordered really early and it took the stress out of planning. She took the vision and ran with it. Her creativity is special! Our expectations were exceeded. Will definitely use Theresa for special events in the future.

If you haven't been here, you are sleeping on the greatest cake shop on the shore. Theresa is a master. Flavors I don't typically like, I LOVE of hers. We found her while wedding cake shopping and we frequent quite often now because her cupcakes, cake balls and everything else...are a work of beauty and perfection. I have eaten so many cupcakes, and I have never had one where every bite is perfect.
We just had a cupcake with a little baby PANCAKE on top, I mean COME ON!
