This bar is absolutely not safe, especially for women. I did a video of a heated and unpleasant argument breaking out. The bartender unreasonably asked me not to make the video of the argument, which made no sense at all.
One of the same men involved in the argument had earlier approached me inside the bar in a weird, unwanted, and verbally aggressive manner (not physical, but still intimidating) when I had never invited him. I have witnesses who saw this and admitted that his behavior was off. That alone made me feel unsafe.
I also saw that this same man was flirting with a woman who appeared very drunk, visible to anyone at the main bar area. The staff did nothing for her safety, and I was the only one asking if she was really okay.
Later, after the heated argument, I saw the same man by the exit and felt unsafe to leave, so I asked a staff member to walk me out. Sure enough, he followed us outside immediately. Thankfully, the staff member stayed with me, but the man continued to follow us for a while.
The bartender even admitted that this man had a history of being “weird with women,” yet they had not banned him. This proves they simply don’t care about customers’ safety at all.
I’m 37 and have always been a bar person, regularly attending bars my whole life. This was by far the scariest and most stressful situation I’ve ever had in a bar. The argument, the man’s unwanted and verbally aggressive behavior (not physical, but still intimidating), the staff’s inaction, and being told not to record made me feel extremely unsafe. It’s a total shithole. Don’t believe their marketing — women especially should stay away.

My girlfriend and I decided to stop by for my 21st birthday. We both have vertical ids but they let us in after we showed them it. We sat down and tried to order drinks but we were denied due to not having a horizontal id. We got kicked out afterwards for not having the right id. I was disappointed since it was my 21st birthday. Would rather have been denied up front then be kicked out. Don’t check ids and let us in just to be denied service.

The staff is amazing. This is by far my favorite spot to go to for casual drinks or a night out. The atmosphere is fun and safe. Katie the manager is a sweetheart and always does a fantastic job of making sure everyone is having a good time and taken care of. I love seeing her when I stop in! Definitely will be back
Katie somehow keeps this place from burning down every wkend. She’s the glue/muscle/therapist.. I love coming here when she’s around, she makes rounds makes sure we are okay everytime we are here, I love her emery.
Venice is amazing, Jordy is amazing. Love them both down real bad.

This is definitely not a restaurant.It's basically just a bar. The only times that are good to, uh, drop by would be on the weekends.I guess. It's kind of dark and gloomy if you're not there with a group of friends. The fire in the outside seating is really nice. I guess. The bartenders make some really, really, really good drinks. Mixologists to the max. It's worth dropping It's worth dropping by to get a drink. It's a whole show pretty much
