I have often eaten in the restaurant as well as ordered food for take out and I have no complaints. The food has always been very good. The staff are very friendly, courteous and attentive to the customers including the owner. The atmosphere is very pleasant.

Excellent food, the greens took me back to my grandmother’s kitchen when she had a large pot of greens cooking on the stove. The “candied” yams were.delicious and the bread pudding desert was fantastic. An added bonus occurred when a group who was there for a surprise party broke out in song; wonderful. The owner stopped by our table to converse with us for a bit and our server was top notch. It was a delightful dining experience. We will be returning!

We visited this location while in Salisbury. We had 3 meals and 3 deserts. - Salmon, cabbage, Yams & bread pudding. The Salmon has a sweet bourbon sauce that was flavorful and made the salmon moist. The cabbage was seasoned well and had a good crunch to it. The Yams were Supreme. They weren't too sweet and doesn't have marshmallows on them. The bread pudding was moist and had a good crunch.
- Ribs, Yams, sweet potato fries & peach Cobbler. The ribs fell off the bone they were so tender. The bbq sauce was good. The peach Cobbler was more peach than crust and came with vanilla ice cream with a sprinkle of cinnamon. This was the perfect combination.
- Turkey Wings, Rice, Greens & Cinnamon Swirl Cheesecake. The turkey also fell off the bones. The gravy was lightly seasoned and mixed well with the rice. The greens were seasoned with pork but did not have that overwhelming flavor of pork...so good. I could melt into heaven with the cinnamon swirl cheesecake. It was very light and didn't weigh heavy in my stomach (stole a piece from hubby).
The atmosphere was welcoming and the server Calvin was awesome! He gave us great suggestions. All of this was under $100! This will now be our go to place when we visit my son.

The food was horrible it took over an hour to get part of the meal and my granddaughter ordered a chicken sandwich by the time she got it it arrived in a box because everyone was finished with their meal.I called to speak with the manager (Dawn) in which I never received a call back

We visited this restaurant for my grandmother's birthday, having called ahead to arrange a 7pm arrival due to the party size. five (5/15) arrived on schedule and ordered promptly to alleviate pressure on the staff. However, the food failed to meet the high standards set during my previous visits, likely due to the strain of the earlier large party. Unfortunately, my niece food was delayed, arriving after the latecomers had been served, and her food was placed in a take-out container as the others had finished, leading to significant disappointment. Our waiter was very polite and did an amazing job but the kitchen staff really dropped the ball.

On our way to Ocean City and stopped by this place. We really enjoyed it. Matt, our waiter was really attentive and sweet.
There was live music, and our hostess and waitress were fantastic. They sat us quickly and the dining area was clean and not too busy. The food was good. I ordered the oxtails for $30, and it was adequate. If I go again, I'll try something else.
