Got some half a dozen variety togo but waitress was so cordial she added one extra for free. Liked the coffee and the selection too, feels like actual European bakery serving such good baked food in middle of Maryland! Reminded me of my German trip.

We visited by Savage Mill for a break in the middle of an 8 hour drive. After exploring the Mill we stopped by the Cafe for a late lunch. The staff was friendly, the prices were reasonable and the food was fresh and tasty. We left refreshed and ready for the rest of our drive.

Cool place just a little out of the way, if I could walk there I'd love it! Space was great, selection was wonderful. My swirl was awesome, espresso was fine and latte was really good. The attention to detail is very noticable and appreciated.

The hot tea is served far too hot and after the food instead of before or with the food as it should be.

My iced coffee tasted bitter. The pastry I purchased was good but I didn't particularly care for the dark chocolate that was used.

I wish i lived locally to get this ALL THE TIME. It feels like its so hard to get fresh baked pastries and good plain espresso. We were shopping and waltzing around Savage Mills and all I could smell was toasted butter and coffee lol.

Ended up stopping there on our way out to grab a plain croissant and a long pour espresso (lots of options btw). The staff were friend, the place was clean and tidy. The croissant was flakey and chewy and just PERFECT. Seriously go here all the time if you can!!!

Super busy on the weekends. No separate line for pickup and order-in. You’re kinda just figuring it out. Will go back but they definitely need to streamline the process.

Croissant good but chicken salad tasted canned. Too expensive. Raspberry danish barely had any jelly in it.

First off, their plain coffee is delicious! But know they are light on the milk/cream so you may want to ask for more. The parking lot is tiny but moves quickly. The place is easy to find, plenty of seats, and the staff was very cheery. I didn’t love the mushroom claw but the strawberry cream danish was phenomenal! The place was a bit dark, granted I went as soon as they opened, but I felt it was hard to read some of the pastry cabinet signs. (I have a vision issue so that may be my own issue)

All in all I’m going back and excited to do so! Cannot wait to try more baked goods, their pastry cabinet is beyond incredible, and their standard menu and holiday drinks look wonderful too

After living in Germany for several years, it is fantastic to have this quality of baking and service here in Frederick Maryland.

Food and service are both terrible, but the bakery is pretty good. Had two workers look at the prepared sandwich and then wander off before a 3rd finally decided to hand it to me across the counter. It was supposed to be roast beef, but I am not entirely sure it was. Go there for the pastries as long as someone gets it right away.

why are you serving practically frozen quiche? quiche should be warm, custard like even. not a dense, cold, brick.

Couldn’t get coffee since it was close to closing time but the barista made me a chai latte which was warm and cozy. The pumpkin danish tasted exactly like pumpkin pie! Will go again sometime
