It's a nice change of pace from crowded DC bars you can deff chill in this place, the building itself is pretty cool, (old mill), only downside is pool table was crooked and missing cues lol.
Deff recommend the trip to see this place.

Great food, great service and the perfect ambience. Try the fried deviled eggs, they are delicious. Parking can be a challenge, but that is the only downside.

Place was nice, staff was friendly, and drinks were good. The food was my only issue, imo the kids fried chicken and the fish and chips were bland. My wife enjoyed her chicken sandwhich and said it was seasoned well. We do plan to go again and ill just try something different next time.

This place really has a lot of character. It's a very low-key chill place to hang out. It's also great to get a tasty bite to eat as well as an adult beverage. It has a huge selection of beers that are very tasty. I try to taste a new one each time I go there and have yet to have tried each one. It's better than a local place as far as their selection. I tried the Aslin Power Surge, a milkshake IPA and it was delightful, with flavors of a strawberry milkshake

This place used to be a lot of fun for all the savage locals, but someone decided to take everything that made the place a fun afterwork refuge and chuck it in the dumpster.

The place is completely dead these days, and seeing my community bump elbows and share good times together under one roof will be sorely missed.

It's likely that someone in corporate/management has a gross misguided view of what the people of this area want, and let me tell you it's not bartenders in suspenders. We want our old bar back.

Atmosphere and staff are phenomenal! Sarah is a great mixologist. I always ask her to surprise me with a drink. She's never repeated the same drink and I always love it. Food menu isn't huge but they are good at what they make. Definitely one of my favorite places to go.

The Blind Pig: Where Confusion Meets Deliciousness! My guy and I set out to have brunch at Savage Mill's dive bar but were led astray by signs more puzzling than the scarecrow in Wizard of Oz. Yet, we stumbled upon an unexpected gem! Top-notch soulful tunes (think SiR, Jazmine Sullivan, and Giveon) filled the air, and the vibe transformed into a sophisticated, smoke-free cigar lounge. The bartender/waitress makes a mean Lord of War cocktail (try it if you like lemon and whiskey/ bourbon)! The sweet and spicy General Tso wings and savory short rib tostada delighted our taste buds. Even their mistake of giving my guy a Blind Pig flatbread vs the requested meat-lover flatbread turned out to be a tasty surprise! The hot honey pepperoni pizza - pure magic! Pro tip for the confused: the dive bar lies hidden behind the first door on the left, en route to the antique mall. Mature folks: why go upstairs when they share the same kitchen. Stay downstairs! Go forth, adventurous foodies, and discover this unexpected chill spot! Loved the Blind Pig!

Parking: There’s two parking lots but they fill up quickly. But be patient and you may get VIP parking.

I’m not sure if this place was having a bad day, but my whole overall experience wasn’t pleasant I called to ask questions and it was clear that the hostess doesn’t speak any English put me a hold for about five minutes until somebody could come to the phone to answer my question I still decided to give this place a try had to order of the nachos and the bean topping was ice, I ordered a steak and eggs and hash brown was cold my husband the honey, soy salmon with brussels sprouts that was flavorless, but it was the best thing that was had.

My girlfriend and I were looking for a place to catch a particular sports game on a random weeknight. A big thanks to Antonio for his help in making it happen and his good service.
