TASTE OF THE ISLAND & SOUL FOOD

The portion was very small for the price. I for half a cup of rice and beans. The Mac and cheese taste very acidic and watery idk if they put vinegar or lemon juice in it. The ox tail wasn’t what I expected or what I’m used to eating. Overall the staff were nice and very hospitable but the food definitely did not meet my expectations.

They do more talking than savings. Everything is overpriced and extremely high one if they pay $24 for y'all not to put salt, pepper and ketchup on my stuff and also to forget my macaroni and cheese that you guys never have I won't be back

Phone doesn’t work to call. This is not true Jamaica food this is an American who is trying to make Jamaican food. Doesn’t even taste like what you get at a Jamaican food spot. Seasoning is all off and full of cayenne pepper. Place had no rice and beans and cabbage was hard. I will never go back to this, one and done

Lady is rude and nasty attitude, first thing that was said “Whatchu want?” The place stinks and she talks on her phone a lot and prices are high gave us the wrong order which was chicken curry got goat instead, I knew when she gave us that attitude out front her place we shouldn’t have ordered but we just thought maybe she was having a rough day

I ordered the curry chicken with rice and peas, and it was the worst that I have ever had in my life. There was a 10 minute wait for my order, and when I received it, one part of the trey was cold and the other was hot. The only part of my meal that was hot was the rice, and it looked old. I threw my order in the trash because I never re order from the same cook. This place was trash.

It's a walk up counter place but the woman there was super nice and got curry chicken with plantains and mac & cheese. The food hit the spot and the Mac & cheese in the curry sauce was good.

Oh man!!! I got the brown stew chicken and it was sooooooo good!!! I haven’t had flavorful food like that since my grandma was alive. So happy I found this place. I can’t wait to try the other dishes. Yum!!

I was charged $30 for the jerk chicken platter. I went with it, hoping that it would be the best jerk chicken I’ve ever had but it was dry, pasty, and overcooked. What else got on my nerves was that the menu price said $15.99 and I was overcharged tremendously. I will never eat here again, and I recommend that you save your money and go to a different establishment.
