Potomac Ridge Brewing

We enjoyed both excellent local craft beers - super selection as well as a pizza - Bartender was quick and on point - we asked for a custom mixed topping pizza and they nailed it quickly and accurately...just wish they were more walkable from Sheperdstown - coulda had a couple more beers!

Place was hopping for a Wednesday night - locals love their Bingo night.

Can’t say enough good things about this place. As a non-drinker, I was beyond impressed to find such a variety of seasonal mocktails. I have tried & loved drinks from both their summer and fall menus. They also have kombucha and sodas if a mocktail isn’t your vibe.

The food is delicious and comes out SO quickly, even when they’re busy - in particular, the Pickle Pie and soft pretzels are amazing. The staff is also really friendly and welcoming. I live about 90 mins away but keep finding excuses to come out this way so I can visit again!

Hands down the best brewery around! Hometown feeling and the owners are absolute angels! The food and drinks are top tier. Will continue to make memories with friends and family here!

I can’t believe I have never left a review here! Where do I start? This is by far our favorite spot. From the beer, the cocktail selections, the food, the atmosphere, the bartenders, the entertainment, the staff, the owners!!! I would give it more than 5 stars if I could!! Some of the best people hang out here! Come in, order a drink, get a pizza and that caprese salad!! See for yourself, there just isn’t a better place to spend your time.

This has been the most impressive food and beverage establishment we’ve been to on our first trip here to Shepherdstown. Great atmosphere and efficient business model, employees are very friendly and attentive. The pizza and beer are solid.

Very nice place. They have interesting happy hour. If you order at 3pm, beer price is $3, if you order at 4, beer price is $4 and so on. So we entered at 3, got wonderful prices,

Excellent experience. Very dog friendly; dogs are allowed in the dining area. Small menu but what is on it is good; it is a brewery, not a restaurant. Above average brewery motif with fun brewery trivia on a tv.

Absolutely amazing experience! From entry, you are warmly greeted by every person that works there, they are happy to get recommendations for beer, and the pizza is 12 out of 10! There’s a huge outdoor space in the back, that could use some large games, such as Jenga or big connect for or big checkers, but that’s an add-on, they’ve already gone above and beyond with the pizza and beer. Would be back in a heartbeat, thanks for an awesome experience!

Out of town and took a chance. The atmosphere is great, the staff is amazing, the vibe is upbeat, and the pizza was perfect. They have an amazing selection of brews. Their seating is first come, first serve but there’s always room. If you’re unsure if you should try it, here’s your sign; DO IT.

Can you beat the clock?!?! They have an excellent selection of beer and, every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3-6, they have Beat the Clock specials on 4 beers. Whoever came up with this idea is a genius and I would like to shake that person’s hand! $3 beers at 3:00! $4 beers at 4:00! $5 beers at 5:00! Are you kidding me?!?! This is the best deal in the history of deals! We went for this special several times this summer and always have a great time. We stop at Potomac Ridge anytime we are nearby. Weekends are great since they have lots of room to handle a crowd. The outdoor pavilions are pleasant to sit at on a nice day. Did I mention that the beer is outstanding?!?! The staff is friendly and the food is excellent too. My daughter enjoys their Mocktails and brownies so she likes to go too. I guarantee that Potomac Ridge Brewing will bring a smile to your face!

I’m not typically one to review OR complain…. But I brought formula, chips, and watermelon for my kids under 2… “management” came and said no outside food due to health department (heavens if I was breastfeeding….)….i said it is chips and watermelon for my kids under 2…. Didn’t matter. I was told no to ALLLL outside anything - which sadly also meant breast milk….

We were a very large party who spent quite a chunk of change that day. To my knowledge- there was nothing kid friendly snack wise. I had to tell my kids they couldn’t have watermelon. The only reason there was even music playing while we were there was because my brother (who drove TWO hours to meet us) linked to the speaker sitting there. We never tried to have a picnic. We have been there before- not recently- and honestly picked your place because of our experience when there prior. I have also since learned I wasn’t the only one who didn’t have a good experience that day (after I had left).

Excellent food! Amazing staff! Awesome owners! This place is family & dog friendly and has great bands on the weekends. I recommend this place to all my friends and family!
