Nobody texted me to tell me my food was ready. And the mayonnaise I asked for on the side at the register…. I had to ask for again when I went inside randomly to discover my food was on the counter, which again, nobody texted me to tell me that it was there. Also, the Philly steak sub is ground beef that was not seasoned, except luckily, with salt. You do you and call your Philly steak sub what you want, which you will because you will survive nicely since you are a very popular place. You don’t need me to come back and I’m sure you don’t care what I have to say. It’s fine. I just wanted to let you know what happened.
Dropped by this place shortly after they opened and was impressed as soon as I walked through the doors. Beautifully set up, warm & welcoming environment, excellent food, and the beer is next level awesome. Your outdoor area is such a cool place to chill out, enjoy the weather and scenery and spend quality time with friends and family. It has only gotten better. Recommend stopping if you are in the area, you won’t be disappointed. I am an instructor at a nearby training facility and I started telling my students to stop here on the way back from our battlefield trip to Antietam. They have taken my advice and have had nothing but rave reviews after tasting the food and drinks. Thank you for being so gracious when my groups of 30-40 invade the place right after you open during the week! We will continue to come back time and time again. You guys are the best and we look forward to seeing you soon!!
Excellent pizza!
This is a great place to have a few drinks.
Living nearby this is always a hot spot for lunch dates or pizza night— great beer list always! (Prb Kickin’ peach pit is legendary)
Friendly staff were very helpful and excellent beers on tap!! Glad I stopped by!!
I've been visiting from Michigan since they opened in April 2024. One of my favorite breweries anywhere.
We had an absolutely amazing experience on Homecoming Saturday! The entire Potomac Ridge team went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly despite the busy crowd. The kitchen was impressive—getting fresh, delicious food out in less than 10 minutes with smiles all around. I complimented someone from the kitchen, smiling they proudly responded, ‘thank you, breaking records!’ I loved that! As the sun set, the fire pits were lit, and an employee started selling s’mores kits, personally chatting with each group at the fire pits. The heaters under the pavilion were a cozy touch. It all wrapped up with a friendly send-off from the door holder! Such a delightful experience.
Good service. Poor excuse for pizza. Ordered a caramelized onion and the onions were over cooked globs and very salty. That shouldn't have been served.
Great drinks, a nice pavilion, good pizza, and a nice area with lights to hang under!

This is by far our favorite brewery. It checks every box we look for:
✅ Attentive & kind service. All the bar tenders are attentive and quick to want to help. Jeff the owner and his wife Dorrie (who owns the coffee shop) are by far the kindest and most inclusive people I have ever met.
✅ Drinks- large variety of PRB beers & other craft beers, cocktails, mocktails, cider, seltzers
& non alcoholic options like kombucha & lemonade (which the kids love). They also have a large grab n go cooler incase you need a sixer to take home.
✅ Delicious pies- our favorites are the pepperonis (which cup perfectly IYKYK), the Pickle pie, the Hot Honey & the LBC.
✅ Atmosphere includes a large inside dining area and bar that is meticulously curated with sports memorabilia, photographs and handmade signs. One of my favorite things is their outside area. It is an extremely big fenced in area (as a parent that’s a great thing). It includes a large covered pavilion, picnic tables (some with umbrellas), Adirondack chairs around small fire pits, a large fire pit, a gazebo for chilling or kids playing, a Gaga pit for kids to play in, grassy area for tag, ball play, etc., a chicken coop to observe as well as corn hole, ring game, and jenga. Many families bring card games or other balls/play items for the kids too.
✅ Music- There is music all the time from a variety of local musicians! They bring in well established musicians and also support the up and coming.
✅ Events- such as trivia night and Thursday night line dancing.
It’s super close to Shepherdstown, the C&O canal towpath making it an easy stop for riders, runners or hikers. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
My band (Last Known Whereabouts) performed at this venue today. It was a wonderful experience for us and for our friends who came to see us. The pavilion and ceiling fans were perfect for an August day, the food was delicious, there is a diverse selection of drinks, and the owners were very kind and accommodating. We will be back!
Nice outside area. Good pizza
We've been trying to get my husband out so friends can visit before he starts chemo again. We were going to change it up every week but we keep coming back here. The outside area is great. Music, pizza and other appetizers we've tried are very good. As well as the drinks. They have a full bar and mocktails for those that aren't looking for alcohol. Service is great. Thank you for giving us a great place to gather and visit with friends on Sunday afternoons. The food, drinks and music are just a bonus
