came in with 15 pounds of green coffee beans, hoping to have them roasted and ground. The shop was empty — yet the two women working (both of Ethiopian background) were disengaged, talking among themselves and refusing to assist me. There was no explanation, no effort, and no basic courtesy. I wasn’t just turned away — I was ignored.

What makes this more frustrating is that I drove past several other roasting places to support your business, wanting to keep things local. After being denied service, I went down Georgia Avenue to Kefa Coffee. Even though I arrived right at closing, their team welcomed me, stayed a few minutes late, and handled my request with kindness and professionalism. That’s the kind of service that builds loyalty.

I was hosting an event and had planned to recommend your business to others, even handing out your cards. That opportunity was lost because of how I was treated. One bad experience can say more about a business than a hundred good ones — especially in today’s world where word spreads quickly.

I hope you take this seriously. Customer service should never be optional. I expected better from a business in my neighborhood

Hi I saw this place roasts coffee beans in store on TikTok. Can anyone tell me if it is for sale or only for the shop to use ? Also if yes, people who have purchased the roasted coffee beans do you recommend it? Thanks

Me friend found this place on TikTok and we went for coffee. The place looked exactly like the video. The staff was so friendly and the coffee was the best. I live very close by and I’m excited to come back again. I recommend getting the iced latte with two extra pumps of vanilla and cold foam. It’s was so tasty.

We found this place on TikTok ! It’s was so good ! We tried the latte and it was so good just like the TikTok said. My Starbucks drink every morning is almost $10 dollars and the coffee here was less than $4 dollars and tasted better. This is my new morning coffee spot for sure ! So happy I found this place !

Absolutely a gem! Nice and polite servers, food is so good. We werent sure what to order but they helped us choose the perfect dish. Nice coffee place too.

This is the most perfect spot, on this morning. Delicious coffee, wonderful, easy listening horn jazz playing, food like you'd make on a Sunday at home. Incredible service. I'm grateful to have stumbled upon this place on this adventure.

Great quality coffee and friendly staff!

This place roast & sell it's own coffee - machine is inside and visible. If you're into unusual coffee - worth the try.
Besides coffee they have basic sandwiches & good sweets, including muffins, macaroons & pastries.
Place itself is small (like 6-8 tables) but I have seen customers on their notebooks, so I would suggest to try it if you're looking for a space to have a meeting or just to get coffee & sweets, especially if it's a walking distance.
Suggestion: try sweets & coffee

Parking: Street parking is limited, there's a parking behind the store but it's shared between several places.
