Where do I start…this restaurant fired on all cylinders and I walked out with full satisfaction. I shared the awaze tibs and five veggies with two friends. The flavor was off the charts and the presentation of the food was so clean and organized. The spice level was just right. The prices are very fair for the portion of food. This is easily the best Ethiopian food in the DMV! The atmosphere feels like home and the people treat you like you are their own family. Was originally my spot for brunch but after trying their Veggie 5 and Awze Tibs, I can confidently say this is a top 5 restaurant here in the DMV. The empty plate says it all.

What a friendly and safe place! Needing a place for breakfast and get some worm done, I walked just over the D.C.-Maryland border to this Ethiopian cafe and roastery. A couple took my order with a smile. They were very kind.
