7/6/25 update. So disappointed to find out that my favorite pizza place is permanently closed. We'll miss the excellent pizza and superior carrot cake and our favorite waitreas, Olga.

I'm always looking for a new pizza place to try. Bear Brick Oven Co did not disappoint. Pizza was very tasty with lots of toppings. Crust was thin but not floppy. Service was attentive and friendly. Homemade carrot cake was so delicious. We definitely will be back.

Great pizza, and very fast delivery...its my fo go place when don't want to cook.

Great place, great staff, great service, great food. Really like the brick oven pizza and the Bbop cheesesteak sandwich with bacon topping is excellent! Several nights have live music to enjoy.

Was great! Pizza is always good. Had the steak and cheese and was fantastic.

In Silver Spring visiting and had steak and cheese sandwiches at the Bear Brick Oven. Very tasty with lots of options, great service, and reasonable prices.

Great pizza and service!!!! Pizza was amazing, made to order in their brick oven and wasn’t greasy. Highly recommend and the staff were very friendly.

Food was delicious! Our waitress was also very kind. We really enjoyed ourselves. Jon the Manager was also very nice and came up to us at the end and talked to us for a little bit. I really like our friendly everyone is. I forgot the name of our pizzas. I’ll edit it if I can remember, but they both were so delicious. We got the one with pepperoni and we got the other one with sausage, pepperoni, bacon, and ham. It was absolutely delicious. We got the cheese pizza for our little kids and they devoured that And we got the steak fries which were the best steak fries I’ve ever had. Next time I will be trying the meatballs. Can’t wait to come back.

Consistently burnt pizzas that are also overpriced. I have been here multiple times and ordered multiple pizzas - and every time I have gotten pizza that was overcooked and burnt. I am fine with a little char here and there, but this was overly burnt to the point where the burnt charcoal taste was present in every other bite. The pizza also doesnt taste good as it was too salty, very greasy on top, and the crust was dry. And to make it worse, the pizzas here are not cheap. They cost $22 for a simple large pepperoni pizza. For comparison, I can get a large pepperoni at Dominoes, Papa Johns, or Pizza Hut for much cheaper - about $9-$16 (depending on if I use a promo or not) and they actually have much better tasting pizzas that are not burnt.

Came across the establishment on a food delivery service app and liked what was on the menu but wanted to visit in person versus delivery. When we arrived they had live music on the patio area. Entered and were greeted by a gentleman busy cleaning but helped us figure out where to go to be seated and order. Once seated our server was Brian and he was very helpful in making recommendations on drinks and menu items. Being newer to the area it was nice to find an establishment that seems committed to sourcing when possible menu items local to Montgomery County and the Maryland area. (Now we know about other local hometown places to visit too!) We enjoyed our Cloverly pizza, (the crust was the best), the local beers were great, and the deserts too. I think we just found our local pizza place and can't wait to return and try other menu items. Thanks for welcoming us to the area!

I had the Colesville pizza. So yummy. Fresh ingredients and perfectly cooked in the brick oven. Made how pizza should be. Great music playing while i ate but not the live music. I will have to come back when they have live music or trivia! Excited to find a great spot.
