The best empanadas I’ve ever had. Me and my wife had to keep going back for the potato and chicken empanada, but they sell out fast! We always pick up a fruit tart or bread while we’re at it. It’s our favorite bakery in the area since we moved to Wheaton last year.

Horrible, today was the first time I bought a tres leches cake and it was super dry. Apart from that, I asked them for a design and they didn't make it as I requested. They delivered it differently. I will never go to that place again in my life. Personally, I don't recommend it. .Bad quality ??

I just went there to get some empanadas and when I was telling the cashier with red hair that was counting money I saw roaches in the breads that were infront of us so i told her and she said oh ok and continued to count so i stood there for another 5 minutes to see what she does and she didnt even do anything about it then she asked if i was ready i said no thanks and left

We randomly stopped by Caramelo Bakery to grab a cake for a last-minute holiday gathering. From the start, it looks like Caramelo is a the place to be since there were a lot of people were picking up their orders. I think there were about 12 people in line ahead of us. Although it was the place to be, I did notice that ordering and pick up was a bit unorganized. I think it would have been more efficient if one person was ringing up the orders, and the other two people were collecting the orders. I mentioned that because when it was our turn to order, we received two significantly different prices for the cake that we were interested in. Of course, the cake ended up being the higher of the two prices. For our order we went with the tres leches cake. It was kind of interesting because I've never seen (or made) tres leches in a cake form; I've only seen it served in a pan so the excess milk would not leak out of the cake. That said, the cake was AMAZING. It was so amazing that one of party guest who isn't a fan of cakes/desserts went back for seconds. I definitely look forward to trying more items from this bakery. Interestingly enough, I really want to try the bakery's roll. I said this because most of the folks picking up orders were picking up trash bags full of these rolls.

I've only had the salteñas from here but they are very delicious. I've had the chicken and beef. Both are good. I've never been to the location though. They have always been brought to my house by my uncle.

The girls are very kind,But luckily for me I found a cockroach inside the display case where the bread and cookies are.I had to stop what I had taken for hygienic reasons
Another good bakery in Wheaton, MD. Price is very reasonable. Anyway, the taste and quality aren't quite consistent, sometimes. There is a lot of Spanish pastries and bread styles. (I never try yet.) Their cake option doesn't has many kind but for me it's enough choices and most of them looks cute.p.s. Anyway I like Caramelo Bakery that they are closed quite late for bakery shop schedule and also beautiful graffiti art wall outside the building.

I always come here to get cakes for birthdays. Every cake I get is a fan favorite. Decently priced for it's size. It's also an easy come-get-go situation. Staff are AMAZING

Very good but the order taker did not give me the Italian garden salad I asked for and it ruined my plans for my meal the next day! Idiot said the rigatoni (no pork!!!) comes with a salad and I said I know and I want an extra one !! I said add the salad I'll pay! I just can't stand when these morons don't take their job seriously and ruin people's meals
