This coffee spot is a hidden gem. The brewed coffee flight was a really nice change to my normal grab n go routine. Loved the dark roast.
The owners are very kind and I enjoyed the conversation.
I hope to be back soon and pay with Bitcoin ;)
Wonderful coffee and service experience. Best espresso I’ve ever had.
I visited the first time today, after having walked past it many times. Very friendly owner, wide range of coffees available, and you can order special roasting of your favorite bean. I got a pour-over of a Costa Rican medium roast, was very satisfied. I'll visit again for sure!
Would highly recommend the pour over. I enjoyed the Sumatra at medium-dark roast and bought a small gift bag of the fresh roasted beans.
The cafe is clean and relaxed, friendly service and good vibes, so we stayed a few minutes to enjoy the coffee.
This review is well overdue. You must I repeat you must get down to Celtic cup coffee for a true memorising coffee experience. Doug who is the owner, is so passionate and knowledgeable about coffee, the culture behind it and the origins of the beans he imports. This is the best true coffee experience in the DMV area. Not only is the price so affordable, the coffee beans sourced aren’t things you’ll find in cafes. They offer coffee flights that allow to experience the same bean at different roast to compare the flavour. Even the whole decor of the store you can see how much attention to detail and homage to the craft is made. Can’t recommend this Celtic coffee enough. This is a place to experience and learn about real coffee. You have the option to pick how your coffee is made whether drip, espresso etc.
Cute place and great to sample different beans and roast levels before buying a freshly roasted bag.
I’ve been getting my custom-roasted coffee beans from Celtic Cup Coffee for the past four months and will definitely keep coming back. Doug, the owner, is truly passionate about coffee and incredibly knowledgeable about the entire process—from farm to cup. That expertise shines through in every roast and makes the experience here unlike anywhere else. Highly recommend!
The coffee I get from here is always top notch but what makes this place even better is all the coffee chats I have with Doug. He knows his stuff and it’s great learning from him everytime. Love this place. Highly recommend.
Interesting concept. The very first thing I asked for a “cortado” but this place has no milk at all. It’s is strictly a coffee roaster place. So not a traditional coffee shop.
I tried a flight of espresso and learned a lot about the roasting levels (light, medium and dark). I did not have my cortado with steam milk but it was a learning experience.
I will come back to try more variety and buy some fresh roasted coffee bags.
Great coffee, very solid prices, and the owner Doug is really cool. Definitely recommend to swing by for a morning brew!

Really unique that they roast each cup to order. Give it a try
Really cool place! Met Doug this morning. Made me a great americano!! He was also custom roasting a pound of beans for someone while he waited!!
I feel bad for this review because people seem to love this coffee, but I just don’t get it. The owner was super rude and the coffee tasted identical to Panera coffee.
Had a great pour over and Doug was amazing, and knowledgeable!
Stumbled upon this gem on my way out of the doctor’s office and I cannot believe I didn’t know this place before!!
The person serving was incredibly kind and helpful. 100% recommended (especially the fresh pour over). Will definitely be back!
