I had a great experience at the Charleys in Aspen Hill. The worker who took my order was really attentive and nice, which made the whole process smooth. My food came out quickly, was prepared well, and tasted great. The Chicken California was especially good and definitely something I would recommend. One of the better fast food spots in the area. I will be coming back for sure.

Nice place. AC is working. Music playing is 90s rock not too loud. Tables and floor are clean.

Wasn’t greeted in particular but when they saw me looking at the menu board they asked if I needed anything. They have a self order kiosk like many places these days so I didn’t really feel like I needed them to take my order.

If you are the sort of person that wants your order taken, they seem disposed to do it. They have registers where they can enter an order for you.

I asked the lady for recommendations and she said she didn’t have anything in particular. Then I asked what her favorites were and she told me the chicken Philly and the Philly cheesesteak. So I’m going with the Philly cheesesteak.

I came in at unusual time around 345. So there was hardly anybody in here although now that I’m in there are four other people in here. My order came out and about four minutes and it looks pretty good. See attached photo. Upon further inspection, it looks like the sub half on the right could use a little more meat, but let’s see how it goes.

It’s piping hot. It tastes great. I was wrong about the sub on the right. The meat was loaded up in the top half of it so I was able to red distribute so we have meat through the whole thing. The bread is soft and crispy the vegetables taste fresh. Very nice level of salt. The tomatoes are nothing fancy, but they still taste like tomatoes.

I’m gonna go with five stars and I will return here. I don’t know what all the bad reviews are about, maybe it’s different if it’s really busy. But this experience was very positive.

The worst Charleys! The service is terrible I walked in with my partner no one at the register greeted us. The guy at the register completely ignored us he started to take the person behind us order until we yelled out HELLO! Where literally standing at the register you skipped us to take the person behind us order. Then they completely messed up our order. They don’t speak English and were not understanding what we were saying. This was the worse Charleys ever I will never come back to the Aspen Hill location ever.

I came in with a coupon for free regular fries & drink with any regular or large cheesesteak purchase. I ordered a chicken cheesesteak, and the cashier tried to gaslight me into getting something more costly. She rudely insisted that the coupon was for beef cheessteaks specifically, which is incorrect & she knew that.

And then she tried to trick me into ordering a large fries & drink, canceling out my coupon. And on top of all that I got sick the next day. I think they tampered with my food. I used to go there after my physical therapy appointments but no longer. They need to fire that team, they've got rude & racist csshiers and someone tampering with food in the back.
