The ribs was great but the dead fly in my sons green beans was unaccepted showed waitress. She took it to the back never said anything no discount no green beans won’t be back for fly sh.t green beans. As for me and my family that we usually eat there every week don’t believe I’ll return
We were looking for a place to eat while we were in Keyser, which there really isn't a good sit down restaurant in town. We settled on the Chat & Chew across the bridge in MD. The place was really busy, but we were seated right away. It took several minutes until our server came with menus. She was very pleasant and had a good sense of humor. I asked how sweet the tea is, and she brought me a "sample" to taste. I did not think it was sweet, so settled on water. I ordered the Italian Sampler, which was one of the specials: Lasagna, meatballs, and Fettuccine Alfredo. The portions were large and it tasted great. The only issue was the food was luke warm. Our server took it right back & heated it up. Overall, a very pleasant dining experience.
This was a better than decent diner. Service was pleasant and our meals were good. It was definitely a bargain price wise. Plenty of parking and the restaurant is large. Plus, they have an Elvis mannequin!

Came in to eat at 8 in they close at 930 very rude to us I wouldn't advise you to go here the employees are horrible
This place has very reasonably priced food. That’s all the good I have to say and probably should stop there. If you want to relive your childhood school cafeteria experience this is the place for you. However if you want a decent place to eat that is palatable then you should drive right on by!
Just a fun local restaurant near Keyser, WVa. It is just across the river and in Maryland so it may not come up in searches. We loved it and found it to be a local favorite. Good prices, good “dinner type “ food and nice service.
The Chat & Chew is not a fancy restaurant but it is comfortable and the food is good. The prices are reasonable. The establishment has been around for many years. This is where the locals eat.
Had take out spaghetti with meatballs and meat sauce on Saturday the 1st. Absolutely delicious! Will eat there again on my next trip to Maryland.
